The eBay Asia Pacific Shipping Platform (ASP) is a product launched by eBay to meet the needs of the international e-commerce delivery market and improve the logistics processing efficiency of Chinese sellers. Sellers can use this platform to automatically synchronize sales data, manage, download and print shipping orders and customs declaration documents containing English addresses. Logistics service providers will appoint specialists to pick up the goods at home. After the package is online, it will be connected to the eBay database system and provide package tracking information query services.

The first step is to go to the “eBay Asia Pacific Shipping Platform” homepage and click “Login with eBay ID” to log in to the eBay Asia Pacific Shipping Platform. Tip: If it is the first time to use the eBay Asia Pacific Shipping Platform, click “Register Now” and use the eBay Asia Pacific Shipping Platform to ship after completing the registration.

The second step is to click “Paid Orders” in the left sidebar of the page to view the orders that need to be shipped; click on the order and edit the package details. The specific filling requirements are as follows.

(1) Chinese and English declaration name: Please make sure to fill in the correct Chinese and English declaration name and avoid illegal characters. The length limit of the English declaration name is 128 English letters, and the length limit of the Chinese declaration name is 64 Chinese characters.

(2) Item information.

Quantity: required, the quantity of the item in the order.

Total weight: required, the total weight of the items in the order.

Total value: required, the total declared value of the items in the order.

Origin: required, the origin of the item.

Tariff code: optional, the tariff code is a code for a specific product, which is recorded in the Harmonized System (HS) of the World Customs Organization (WCO).

After completing the editing of the item information, you can click the “Save as Preset” button to save the information of the item as a SKU preset. In the future, the logistics platform will automatically fill in this information based on the SKU of the item to improve efficiency.

(3) Package information.

Logistics company: required, you can assign a logistics service provider to the package here (different logistics service providers have different collection coverage areas and delivery destination countries. Please refer to the introduction documents of each logistics provider to assign the correct logistics service provider to the order).

Collection Notes: Optional, inform the logistics service provider of the notes when collecting the package at your door.

Delivery Notes: Optional, inform the logistics service provider of the notes when delivering the package.

Package Volume: Required for TNT/FedEx. The length, width and height of the package.

Package Description: Optional.

(4) Address.

Consignee Address: Required, i.e. the buyer’s information and address printed on the shipping label. eBay Asia Pacific Logistics Platform will automatically obtain the consignee’s address based on the order, and you can modify it if necessary.

Sender Address: Required, i.e. the seller’s information and address printed on the shipping label. eBay Asia Pacific Logistics Platform will automatically fill in the default address based on the shipping address settings. You can select other set addresses based on actual needs.

Collection Address: Required. The logistics service provider will collect the package at your door based on this address. eBay Asia Pacific Logistics Platform will automatically fill in the default address based on the pickup address settings. You can select other set addresses based on actual needs.

(5) Notes.

Buyer’s Notes: The logistics platform will automatically obtain the buyer’s notes from the order and print the buyer’s notes on the shipping label based on the buyer’s printing habits.

Seller’s Notes: Optional. The seller can edit the notes here. eBay Asia Pacific Logistics Platform will print the seller’s notes on the shipping label based on the seller’s printing habits.

Step 3. After completing the order editing, click the “Save” button to complete the editing.

Tips: (1) eBay Asia Pacific Logistics Platform will calculate the shipping cost of the package based on the logistics service provider selected by the seller, the destination of the item, and the weight and volume of the item (the shipping cost is for reference only, and the final shipping cost is subject to the actual measurement results of the logistics service provider). (2) If an order contains two or more items, the item information of the order will display multiple items on the “eBay Asia Pacific Logistics Platform” page. Please click on the order to enter the order editing interface, where you can edit the multi-item order. The seller needs to edit the missing Chinese and English declaration names and item information for each item. Multi-item orders will share package information, address and notes and can be edited uniformly. (3) If the orders are all for the same item but from different buyers, you can use the batch editing function. On the order operation page, check the items you want to edit and click “Batch Edit” at the top. In the “Batch Order Edit” window, you need to enter the Chinese and English declaration names, weight, price, package volume, tariff code, and country of origin of the items. After completion, click the “Apply” button and the entered information will be updated to each order. All items in batch editing are optional. If an option is left blank, the option will not be overwritten in the order information. You can also click the “Apply Preset” button to select a SKU preset for the order and update it uniformly.

Step 4: Click the “Apply for Package Tracking Number” button to apply for a tracking number for the package. The logistics platform will assign the corresponding tracking number based on the order logistics service provider. If successful, the order will be moved to the “Waiting for Delivery” directory.

Tips: (1) Tracking numbers can only be obtained after payment has been made, the order has been edited and the logistics company has been assigned. (2) If you need to apply for tracking numbers in batches, you can select multiple orders on the “Order Operation” page, and then click the “Assign Logistics Company” button above. The logistics platform will apply for tracking numbers for these orders, and if successful, these orders will be moved to the “Waiting for Delivery” directory.

Step 5. Click “Waiting for Delivery” under “Delivery Status” in the left sidebar to enter the “Order Information” page. You can check the items for which you need to print shipping labels, and then click “Print Shipping Label” above the list.

Tips: (1) The label is a PDF file, and the user’s computer needs to have relevant software installed in order to read and print it normally. (2) If you need to print labels in batches, you can select multiple orders in the “Waiting for Delivery” directory, and then click the “Print Shipping Label” button above. The logistics platform will display the shipping labels for these orders according to the seller’s printing habits and start batch printing.

Step 6. Click “Waiting for Delivery” under “Delivery Status” in the left sidebar to enter the “Order Information” page. You can check the items for which you need to print the declaration list, and then click “Print Declaration List” above the list.

Tip: Postal e-mail requires printing the declaration list, but other logistics service providers do not need to print.

Step 7. In the new pop-up dialog box, you can preview the declaration list and click the “Print” button to start printing the declaration list.

Step 8. Click “Waiting for Delivery” under “Delivery Status” in the left sidebar to enter the “Order Information” page. You can check the items that need to be shipped and click “Ship” above the list.

Step 9. After the order is successfully shipped, the order will be moved to the “Door-to-Door Collection” or “Seller-Shipment” directory (depending on the settings during registration. If “Door-to-Door Collection” is selected during registration, the order will be assigned to the “Door-to-Door Collection” directory.

Tips: (1) If you select “Mark Shipment Immediately after Delivery” in the Mark Shipment Settings, the logistics platform will automatically upload the order number to eBay and mark it for shipment. (2) After the order is successfully collected by the logistics service provider, the logistics platform will move the order to the “In Transit” directory. If you select “Mark Shipment after the Post Office Confirms Delivery” in the Mark Shipment Settings, the logistics platform will automatically upload the order number to eBay and mark it for shipment. (3) After the order is successfully delivered, the logistics platform will move the order to the “Delivered” directory. If the delivery fails, it will be moved to the “Undelivered” directory. (4) If you need to ship in batches, you can check multiple orders in the “Waiting for Delivery” directory, then click “Ship” above, and eBay will automatically send the order to you. The Asia Pacific Logistics Platform will send these order information to the corresponding logistics provider system and move these orders to the “door-to-door collection” or “seller self-delivery” directory.
