Alibaba AliExpress online delivery is a logistics service system created by Alibaba AliExpress, Cainiao Network and many high-quality third-party logistics providers. Sellers who use online delivery need to place a logistics order online in the AliExpress backend. After the logistics provider arrives (or the seller sends the goods to the logistics provider’s warehouse), the seller can pay the freight online and initiate logistics rights protection online. Alibaba, as a third party, will supervise the service quality of the logistics provider throughout the process to protect the rights of sellers.

Sellers can choose the following three methods to carry out online delivery:

(1) Carry out online delivery operations in the Alibaba AliExpress backend;

(2) Carry out online delivery operations through third-party software such as Global Trading Assistant, AliExpress Order Management, AliExpress ERP, etc.;

(3) Connect to the online delivery API interface and carry out online delivery operations through their own ERP.

The following briefly introduces the steps for the first method, that is, online delivery in the AliExpress backend.

1. Select online delivery for the order to be shipped.

2. Select a logistics plan.

3. Create a logistics order.

(1) Create a single logistics order.

(2) Create a batch logistics order.

4. Pack the goods.

The seller needs to print the shipping label and stick the printed label on the outer packaging of the package.

5. Deliver the goods to the international logistics company for shipment.

For goods that meet the door-to-door collection requirements of the international logistics company, the international logistics company staff will come to collect them. Goods that do not meet the collection rules need to be shipped by the seller to the warehouse designated by the international logistics company by domestic express.

6. Fill in the shipping notice.

After the logistics order is successfully created, the system will generate a waybill number and send it to the seller to fill in the shipping notice.

7. Pay the freight.

Project 3 Cross-border e-commerce goods shipment

The international freight and other fees incurred after the package is stored in the warehouse will be automatically deducted from the Alipay account by the system. If the seller has a domestic Alipay account, the system will automatically deduct the shipping fee from the domestic Alipay account first. If the seller has not bound a domestic Alipay account, the system will automatically deduct US dollars from the seller’s international Alipay account (automatically converted according to the daily RMB to US dollar exchange rate).
