Since 1998, Cdiscount has become the leading e-commerce platform in France, with 16 million buyers and 11.175 million unique visitors per month. It sells a variety of products, covering daily necessities, food, electronic products, home appliances, baby products, luggage, toys, home furnishings, etc. Cdiscount is like an online wholesale mall, so its prices have obvious advantages and it has become the first choice for French overseas shopping consumers. At present, Cdiscount’s international business has expanded to Colombia, Côte d’Ivoire, Ecuador, Thailand and Vietnam, and has established sub-sites in these countries.
At the end of 2015, in order to compete with Amazon France, Cdiscount added 4,000 categories and expanded the business scope of the food channel.
