The purpose of implementing logistics management is to achieve a given customer service level under the lowest possible total cost conditions, that is, to seek a dynamic balance between service advantages and cost advantages, and thereby create a strategic advantage for enterprises in competition. According to this goal, the basic problem to be solved by logistics management is to provide customers with the right products, the right quantity and the right price at the right time and the right place.

The logistics process of cross-border e-commerce is firstly that the merchant delivers the goods to the logistics service provider in the merchant’s territory to provide goods logistics services, and then the logistics service provider in the merchant’s territory transfers the goods to the logistics forwarding company for continued logistics services, and the forwarding company again delivers the goods to the logistics service provider in the customer’s territory through customs and subcontracting agreements, and finally the logistics service provider in the customer’s territory delivers the goods to the customer.

Logistics is the biggest problem in cross-border e-commerce. According to statistics, the total transaction volume of cross-border e-commerce in my country in the first half of 2014 was about 3 trillion yuan, of which cross-border retail was about 300 billion yuan. At present, there are more than 5,000 cross-border e-commerce platforms and more than 200,000 enterprises in my country. my country’s cross-border e-commerce market is between the “market start-up period” and the “high-speed development period”. Behind the booming market, the logistics of cross-border e-commerce has been criticized.
