Cross-border e-commerce has now reached a standardized and mature stage. There are three points to note for cross-border payments under the new model:

1. Collection of foreign exchange.

At present, the main methods of cross-border e-commerce collection of foreign exchange are credit card payment and local payment. We should choose the method of foreign exchange settlement for cross-border e-commerce based on comprehensive factors such as risk factors, the success rate of foreign exchange settlement and operating costs.

2. Customs declaration.

Nowadays, many cross-border export companies, especially small sellers, often do not export through formal customs declaration models, and the settlement of funds is also an informal way. Such a development model will encounter bottlenecks and legal risks in the future, which is not conducive to the growth of stores and enterprises.

3. Foreign exchange settlement.

At present, there are two channels for cross-border e-commerce third-party payment business in my country: the first is the “cross-border e-commerce third-party payment business pilot”; the second is RMB cross-border business.
