Use six-sided rigid boxes with intact lids

(1) Each box in the shipment must have its own Amazon Logistics shipment label (printed from the Shipment Queue).

(2) Each pallet requires four labels, one at the top center of each side.

(3) When using large cartons to ship multiple factory-packed items to an Amazon fulfillment center, please affix a unique shipment label to the large cartons used to transport the items.

(4) If using used boxes, remove all old shipment labels or other markings.

(5) Use strong tape designed for shipping.

(6) After packing the box, shake it gently. The contents should not move when shaking.

(7) The items packaged in a carton should only contain items from one order. If a carton contains items from multiple orders, make sure that the carton contains no more than 5 orders.

(8) The maximum weight of a carton package is 22.5 kg (about 50 pounds). If the weight of a single item exceeds 22.5 kg, a “Team Lift” label must be clearly affixed to the carton to indicate that a team is required to operate it; if the weight of the box exceeds 45 kg (about 99 pounds), a “Mech Lift” label must be clearly affixed to the carton to indicate that a machine is required to operate it.

(9) The weight of a carton containing jewelry and watches cannot exceed 18 kg (about 40 pounds).

(10) The size of any side of the carton must not exceed 63.5 cm, unless the size of the single item sold exceeds 63.5 cm.

If the size of any side of the carton exceeds 63.5 cm, the carton must be placed on a 1m x 1.25m pallet, unless the size of the single item sold exceeds the size of the standard pallet.

(11) Cartons and packaging materials (such as padding, fillers) must adequately protect the goods during transportation. If the goods are packed with packaging materials that are not accepted by Amazon’s fulfillment centers, the goods will be rejected or additional packaging fees will be charged.

(12) Use large-sized padding, such as air pillows, whole sheets of paper, foam paper or bubble wrap, and do not fill with loose materials.

(13) The size of the carton is selected to ensure that there is minimal empty space in the carton after the goods are placed. Space utilization can also be maximized by packing multiple items in a carton (provided that the goods are not damaged).

(14) Cartons cannot be tied with strapping tape, elastic bands, or tape. Large staples or nylon fiber tape cannot be used as they may pose a safety hazard to warehouse employees.

(15) Multiple cartons that are determined to be sold together (such as sets) weighing more than 45 kg must be placed on a single pallet (one pallet for each item sold).

(16) Cartoned goods (such as furniture) sold individually and weighing more than 45 kg require pallets. Pallet-sized boxes are not allowed.

(17) Point-of-sale containers commonly used to display goods (such as front-opening boxes or boxes without lids) are not allowed.

(18) If plastic bags are used as packaging materials, they must be transparent, at least 0.04 mm thick, sealed, with an opening larger than 5 inches (about 12.7 cm), and must have a suffocation warning.

Please note that failure to comply with Amazon Logistics’ product preparation requirements, safety requirements, and product restrictions may result in the Amazon fulfillment center rejecting, abandoning, or returning your inventory, prohibiting you from shipping to Amazon fulfillment centers in the future, or stopping Amazon fulfillment center pre-processing services, and may also charge you additional fees for your non-compliance.
