1. Agent Pre-report
Before the overseas company ships the goods, the overseas agent company will pre-send the waybill, flight, number of pieces, weight, product name, actual consignee and address, contact number and other contents to the destination agent company, and entrust it to handle the receiving procedures.
2. Handover list, goods
Complete the check of the handover list with the master waybill and the check of the handover list with the goods. When air cargo enters the country, the documents related to the goods also arrive randomly, and the means of transport and the goods are under customs supervision. After the airline or its ground service company unloads the goods from the aircraft, the goods will be stored in the customs supervision warehouse of the airline or airport; the ground service company will enter the import cargo manifest, and transmit the information on the manifest such as the master waybill number, consignee, departure station, destination, number of pieces, weight, name of goods, flight number, etc. to the customs for retention through the computer for customs declaration.
3. Tallying and warehousing
After the air agency has completed the single-cargo handover procedures with the airline or its ground service company, it will arrange transportation according to the cargo volume, barge the cargo to its own customs-supervised warehouse, and organize tallying and warehousing. Check the number of pieces for each ticket one by one, and check whether all the goods on the handover order have been put into the warehouse. Check whether the outer packaging of each ticket is damaged, whether the goods are damaged, and whether there is a “damage accident record sheet” for damage; damaged goods and batch goods must be distinguished into separate waybills for the convenience of customer customs declaration (customs declaration uses separate waybills as the minimum customs declaration unit). If there are indeed problems that were not discovered when receiving the goods, we will assist the consignee in tracing or claiming compensation from the civil aviation. If a cargo damage incident occurs, an objection should be raised to the carrier within 14 days to protect the interests of the cargo owner, and the cargo will be stored and warehoused separately according to large cargo, small cargo, heavy cargo, single-ticket cargo, mixed cargo, dangerous goods, heavy goods, frozen goods, and refrigerated goods.
4. Document handling and arrival notice
Complete the recording and classification of documents. For centralized consignment of imported goods, it is necessary to sort out the sub-waybills under the master waybill, classify and number them, and compile various documents. Subsequently, an arrival notice needs to be prepared. The arrival notice is generally sent to the actual consignee to inform him that the goods have arrived at the airport and urge him to quickly complete the customs declaration and pick-up procedures. The items that need to be filled in the arrival notice are:
Company name, waybill number, arrival date, number and weight of pieces that should arrive, number and weight of pieces that actually arrived, contract number, name of goods, whether it is special goods, business contact person of the freight forwarding company and his telephone number, etc. The consignor should be notified of the arrival of the goods early, quickly and properly. If the customs declaration is made more than 14 days later, a late declaration fee will be charged: if the customs declaration is made more than 3 months later, the goods will be handed over to the customs for processing.
