To ensure child safety, the platform explicitly prohibits the sale of padded crib bumpers, vinyl crib bumper protective covers, crib riser covers and top bed rail covers. However, unpadded crib bumpers that are clearly visible as mesh and breathable can still be sold on the platform.
2. Baby automatic feeding products.
Baby automatic feeding products are said to have the risk of causing suffocation or aspiration pneumonia in babies. To ensure child safety, the platform directly prohibits the release of such products. These products are designed to allow babies to feed themselves. However, when feeding automatically, babies cannot control the flow of milk, which may cause serious harm to babies.
3. Infant tilt sleep products.
Infant tilt sleep products usually provide a certain tilt angle to provide a specific sleeping environment for infants. 4. Infant pillows.
The US CPSA stipulates the standards for prohibited infant pillows, including five major features such as soft fabric surface and loose filling particles. These features may cause suffocation risks, so the platform explicitly prohibits the release of such products to ensure the safety of children.
5. Side drop-down cribs.
Side drop-down cribs have the risk of suffocation or strangulation, so the platform has completely banned the release of such products. Such products may break, deform, separate, etc. during use, causing injuries to infants.
