There are generally three situations for customizing shipping costs on AliExpress: free shipping (i.e., choose “seller pays”), charge by quantity, and charge by weight. For the setting method of charging by quantity, first, we select “custom shipping costs” in “shipping cost calculation method”. Then the page will show “custom charging method”, select “charge by quantity”, and then the specific pricing conditions will appear below. In “first purchase quantity”, we fill in the correct quantity according to the company’s logistics policy. Assuming that the company stipulates that the shipping cost for orders not exceeding 50 pieces (including 50) is 8 US dollars, then we fill in “1-50” in “first purchase quantity” and “8.00” in “first batch shipping cost”. If it exceeds 50 pieces, for each additional piece, you need to fill in the corresponding shipping cost in “additional shipping cost”.

The setting method of charging by weight is roughly similar to the previous setting of “charging by quantity”, except that the pricing condition here is weight instead of quantity, and “first purchase quantity” is changed to “first weight”, and “each additional number of goods” is changed to “each additional”, etc.

The above is the setting of custom shipping fee. Now, we will customize the delivery time combination. It should be noted that the delivery time system in the worry-free logistics (including worry-free simple, worry-free standard, worry-free priority) of the AliExpress platform has been set up, and the seller cannot modify it. That is, the delivery time promised by the system to the customer.

For ease of understanding, we take the setting of “Singapore Post Registered Parcel” as an example, click “Customize Delivery Time”, Brazil promises a delivery time of 90 days, and other countries and regions promise a delivery time of 60 days, and then click Save. However, sellers should know that the promised delivery time is not the actual time from the package being sent to the customer signing for it. In order to better protect the rights and interests of both sellers and customers, before setting the “promised delivery time”, sellers should consider the actual situation of the goods in transportation, the disputes that customers may raise during the promised delivery time, etc.

The settings of these freight templates are not immutable. Sellers should customize the freight settings according to their own actual situation, and also adjust and update the existing freight combinations in a timely manner according to national and regional policies, rate adjustments, weather factors, political factors, postal road conditions, etc.
