For logistics companies that provide tracking information services, when the goods have been picked up by express logistics companies, we can check the status of the package on the relevant logistics website. Generally speaking, there are several common logistics process statuses.
The package has no information “Not Found” (when the package information has not been uploaded to the Internet and the official website has not been updated)
The package is in transit “Transit” (when the package is still in transit)
The package has arrived for pickup “Pick Up” (when the package shows that it has arrived at the destination country and region)
The package has been delivered successfully “Delivered” (when the package shows that it has been delivered, but the recipient claims that it has not been received)
The package has been in transit for too long “Expired” (mostly due to time delays/the destination country and region cannot find the delivery status and the official website does not update the status)
The package may be abnormal “Alert” (mostly due to returns/customs order numbers/damage/loss and other problems)
We can query the waybill number and send relevant emails to customers based on the above six package statuses. In addition, we should also pay attention to the understanding of some English expressions. For example, in the logistics tracking information, it is written that “2019-03-14 16:17:00 CST United States Arrived at destination sort facility” and similar sentences. Customer service staff should pay attention to this sentence, which means that the package has arrived at the destination package sorting center in the United States. In other words, the goods have not been delivered yet and are in transit.
