Answers to questions about product reviews How do I encourage customers to leave product reviews?
Amazon automatically sends emails to customers asking them to leave reviews. You don’t need to do anything to do this. To learn more, see the Early Reviewer Program.
If you decide to ask customers to leave reviews, you cannot ask for positive reviews, only reviews from customers who had a good experience, ask customers to remove their reviews, or try to influence reviews. For example, you cannot offer any compensation in exchange for a review, including money or gift cards, free or discounted items, refunds or compensation, or any other offers.
Can I offer gift certificates or free gifts?
We prohibit any form of compensation in exchange for a review or vote on the value of a review, including any of the following:
Payment (including in the form of money or gift cards)
Refunds or compensation, including refunds or compensation through non-Amazon payment methods
Free items
Entry into a sweepstakes or contest
Discounts on future purchases
Other gifts
Can I quote a positive review in my product description?

Why are there reviews for products that haven’t been released yet?
We only allow buyers to submit reviews for products that have been released. The following are exceptions:
