Reasons for failed payments

If you expected to receive a payment from Amazon but did not, a common reason is missing or invalid bank account information. In many cases, this is easily fixed.

If you are a new seller, enter your bank account information in the Payment Information tab in Account Information.

If you are a seller with an existing sales history:

Confirm your bank account number and routing information. Check your account settings for typos and make sure you did not enter debit card information.

Confirm that your bank account is in a country supported by Amazon Currency Converter or Hyperwallet.

Confirm that your bank account is not closed.
