(1) Open the seller backend, move the mouse to “Settings”, and click “Account Info”.

(2) Click “Manage” in “Your Services”.

(3) If the seller originally registered a professional seller account, find the “You have registered” column in “My Services” and click “Downgrade” to convert to an individual seller account; if the individual seller account is to be upgraded to a professional seller account, click “Upgrade”.

Due to policy adjustments, there are certain risks in downgrading the seller account type. If the seller downgrades the account type to an individual seller account, it may not be upgraded back to a professional seller account in the future. Therefore, before downgrading, the seller can contact Amazon customer service to understand the risks of downgrading.

Under normal circumstances, the seller’s store has been operating normally, and there is no special reason not to downgrade. If there is indeed a reason for downgrading, such as the need to cancel the account for some reason, you can first downgrade the account to an individual seller account and then cancel it.
