1. Market situation

In the “Seller Service” module of the merchant’s “Seller Center” page, click the “My Service” page, and follow the prompts to order the “Market Insight” service to view the market situation of the industry in which the store is located. The “Market situation” page will analyze the “TOP5 stores with the most traffic in the industry”, “TOP5 hot-selling products in the industry”, and “TOP10 popular search terms in the industry” data in the past 7 days. You can click the “View more” link after each option to view detailed data.

2. Industry-related search terms

Click the “View more” link after “TOP10 popular search terms in the industry” to open the “Industry-related search terms” page, where you can view more popular search terms. In addition, there is also relevant information analysis about the keyword on the right side of each popular search term.

(III) Ali Index

Ali Index is a data analysis platform for understanding the market trends of e-commerce platforms. On November 26, 2012, the Ali Index was officially launched. The Ali Index is calculated based on the basic data of Alibaba’s daily operations (including daily website visits, daily visitor counts, daily new supply and demand products, new companies and products). After entering the Ali Index, there is a guide for hot keywords. Enterprises can check whether their corresponding industry has hot keywords related to it.

The Ali Index includes the following four data analyses.
