EMS (Express Mail Service, international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan express mail) is a service for express mail delivery between mainland China and other countries, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, jointly launched by China Post Express Logistics and the postal services of various countries (regions). This service enjoys priority processing rights in the postal, customs, aviation and other departments of various countries (regions), which is the most fundamental difference between EMS and many commercial express delivery services.

1. EMS tariff

EMS international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan express mail divides the express delivery destination into nine major areas, directly reaching 99 countries and regions, and is charged based on a starting weight of 500g and an additional weight of 500g. No fuel surcharge is required, but there is an additional customs declaration fee of 4 yuan per shipment.

2. EMS reference time

EMS international express delivery time is usually 3 to 8 working days, excluding customs clearance time. Due to the different processing times of postal and customs in various countries and regions, the delivery time of parcels in some countries may be longer.

3. EMS order tracking query

EMS express query methods are divided into the following three ways.

(1) Log in to http://www.ems.com.cn/ to query.

(2) Use the package query function on the website.

(3) Invoice query: For parcels that have been sent out for more than a week, the post office accepts faxed invoice inquiries, and the query period is 1 to 3 months.

4. EMS volume and weight restrictions

EMS international express volume restrictions: The longest side does not exceed 1.5m, and the length + width x2 + height x2 is less than 3m. Weight limit: No more than 30kg per piece/ticket. For details, please visit the EMS official website.
