(1) In the first step, if you choose the “by product/weight” shipping fee calculation mode, you need to select the standard delivery area and service level in the first step. The operation method is the same as the “by order amount” mode. After selecting, click “Continue”.
(2) In the second step, the calculation formula of the “by product/weight” shipping fee mode is: Shipping fee = single delivery amount + number of products (product weight) amount.
① Charge by product: that is, charge shipping fee for each product. For example, if the seller sets a fee of $1 per product and the single delivery amount is $4.99, and the customer places an order to purchase a product, then the shipping fee the customer needs to pay is $4.99+1=5.99.
② Charge by weight: that is, charge shipping fee according to the weight of the product. For example, if the total weight of the product package purchased by the customer is 2 pounds, and $1 is charged per pound, according to the calculation formula, the shipping fee the customer needs to pay is $4.99+2×1=6.99.
After the freight is set successfully, check it and click “Confirm” to confirm that there is no problem. After saving successfully, it will jump back to the freight setting page. This completes the freight setting in the self-delivery mode.
If the selected delivery area is all free shipping, that is, free shipping, then set the freight for all areas to “0”.
It should be noted that the above freight setting method is set for all products in the store.
