Alibaba International Station Credit Insurance Order Operation Guide: Analysis of the entire process from drafting to confirmation of receipt

1. Open communication insurance order service

First, you need to activate Alibaba credit protection service. Paid members of Alibaba International Station can log in to the My Alibaba backend homepage, click on the credit guarantee section, and then click on free activation; or directly visit the operation page of the credit guarantee service (http://bao.alibaba.com) and click on Now Apply. Free members need to fill in the enterprise certification information, and after submission, you can get real-time feedback on the activation results.

2. Drafting credit protection orders

1. Log in to My Alibaba backend

• Choose to draft a credit protection order in the credit protection transaction management interface.

2. Fill in buyer information

• The buyer’s email address must be an overseas email address. Domestic email addresses cannot be used as the buyer’s email address to draft orders.
• When filling in the buyer information, click the “Match Buyer Information” button.

3. Add product information

• You can choose to add published products directly or upload PI.

4. Shipping Terms

• Including delivery address, transportation method, trade terms, delivery date, delivery method, etc.
• It is recommended to confirm the delivery address when the order information is confirmed.
• Weekends and holidays should be taken into account when filling out the shipping date.
• When the total order amount is less than US$5,000, you can choose to “use One-stop customs declaration for export” or “not use One-stop customs declaration for export”.
• Orders with a total amount exceeding US$5,000 must choose “Use One-stop customs declaration for export”.

5. Payment Terms

• The advance payment must be greater than or equal to US$1 and agreed to be settled in US dollars.
• Supports VISA, MasterCard, e-Checking and T/T payment methods.
• The handling fees for different payment methods are different.

6. Order notes and quality terms

• Quality terms should be as clear as possible.

3. Order submission and confirmation

After submitting the order, the buyer is reminded to confirm the order, which completes the drafting of the credit insurance order. After the order is successfully submitted, the supplier can copy the order link and send it to the buyer, and the buyer can directly confirm the order after logging in.

4. Seller delivers goods

According to the order situation, you can choose to ship via OneTouch or not.

1. Shipping via Onetouch

• If you have not drafted a OneTouch export service order, you can click “Draft OneTouch Export Order”.
• If there is already a OneTouch export order, it will be associated with the existing export order.

2. Not shipped through One Touch

• There are two main methods of Alibaba Logistics delivery and third-party offline logistics delivery.
• Alibaba Logistics needs to choose express, sea freight and other channels to deliver goods and place an order.
• For third-party offline logistics shipments, you need to manually upload the logistics order number.

5. Buyer confirms receipt

After receiving the goods, the buyer confirms receipt and can submit an evaluation. If the buyer has not confirmed, the system will automatically confirm receipt after a certain period of time.
