Guidelines for filling out the issuance application form
Basic information
- Date of application for issuance of certificate: Fill in the actual date of application for issuance of certificate, which is usually one month before the delivery date specified in the contract.
- Delivery method: At present, banks generally implement electronic opening, and only need to mark the corresponding location.
- Nature and number of L/C: filled in by the issuing bank. The nature of L/C is irrevocable and has been printed on the header.
- Applicant: The importer’s detailed name, address, telephone number, fax, E-mail and other information must be filled in according to the import contract.
- Beneficiary: The exporter’s detailed name, address, telephone number, fax, E-mail and other information must be filled in according to the import contract.
- Advising bank: Fill in by the issuing bank or based on the bank information provided by the exporter.
- L/C Amount: It is expressed in two forms: numbers and text. It must be consistent with the contract amount and is written in English.
- Batch shipment and transshipment: Fill it out according to the contract provisions and make sure it is consistent with the contract content.
- Shipping Terms: Fill in the port of shipment, port of destination, and latest shipment date of the goods according to the contract. If there is any transfer, it should also be listed.
- Price terms: Choose appropriate terms based on the closing conditions of the contract.
- Payment method: There are four options on the L/C application: sight payment, acceptance payment, negotiation, and deferred payment.
- Bill of exchange requirements: The amount should be filled in as a percentage of the invoice amount payable under L/C according to the contract, and the payment period should be indicated.
- Document terms: Fill in the document terms in accordance with the contract terms, and do not make arbitrary demands beyond the contract provisions.
- Goods under the contract: Fill in the name, specifications, quantity, packaging, unit price, total price, marking and other terms of the goods according to the contract.

- Others: The bottom of the application contains the applicant’s bank account, account number, applicant, contact number, signature and seal of the applicant (legal representative), etc.

How to fill in the international express waybill
Basic information
- Payer account number: Fill in the payer account number, which will be filled in by the freight forwarder or paid directly by the sender in cash. If you have purchased insurance, you also need to fill in the insurance amount.
- Sender information: Fill in the sender’s name and address, and may include reference information.
- Recipient information: Fill in the recipient’s company or personal information, including country, zip code, recipient name, etc.
- Quantity, weight and size of the shipment: Fill in the specific quantity, weight and size of the shipment this time.
- Express product name and quantity: Fill in the express product name and quantity in detail.
- Declared value: Fill in the value of the express shipment truthfully. If the declared value is > US$30, customs clearance will be stricter.
- Sender’s signature: The sender needs to sign on the waybill.
- Value-added services: Select the required value-added services and confirm with the courier and freight forwarding companies whether they are enabled.
