1. Log in to the Listing page.

Go to the eBay homepage and click the “Sell” hyperlink on the upper right of the page.

Enter the product name, click “Start Selling”, and then select the correct product category. If you are not sure which category the product belongs to, enter the product’s keywords in the search box, then click the “Find Categories” button, find and select the category most relevant to your product, click “Select a suitable category”, and click “Continue” after the selection is completed.

2. Edit the Title.

Next, we entered the interface for formally posting the Listing. The first is product detail, that is, editing product information.

The keywords you entered in the title are searchable, so please use the most accurate keywords to describe your product. The item title can be entered up to 80 characters. You should use these 80 characters as much as possible to introduce the characteristics of the item to buyers, and include as many highly relevant item search keywords as possible, so that buyers can understand the important information of the item while also increasing the search volume and browsing volume of the item keywords to drive sales.

3. Edit Category settings.

In addition to using eBay’s “Suggested Categories” function through item keywords, you can also select or modify a suitable category on the listing page to list items.

4. Edit Variations product attributes.

You can edit product attributes here as needed. You can edit multiple (not limited to 2) options, such as color, quantity, specifications, etc. Of course, some product attributes do not support multi-attribute listing.

5. Edit UPC Universal Product Code.

Global Trade Item Number (GTIN).

6. Fill in the product condition.

Here, the product should clearly indicate its usage status (new, or factory refurbished, or refurbished by the seller, or second-hand, etc.). When the product condition is selected as new and unopened, the product must be new and unused, and its packaging must be consistent with the retail channel packaging, unless the product is handmade or specially provided by the manufacturer for non-retail channel packaging.

7. Add Photos.

In the “Add photos” module, you can upload photos of your items. You can upload up to 12 free window photos for your listing. The first photo is the main photo, and it will be displayed as “Main photo”. If you find that the first photo is not the original main photo or the photos are not in the order you expected after uploading, you can drag the photo and drop it in the position you want to sort.

8. Fill in the Item specific attributes.

When creating an item listing, you should complete the Item specifics information of the item you are selling, because this is an important detail for whether the item can be successfully sold. Item attributes can provide buyers with detailed information about the item, such as brand, number, size type, size, color, etc. Click “Add your own item specific” to create custom item attributes.

9. Fill in the Item description.

In the detailed item listing settings page, there is an Item description module, that is, the item description setting block. Click “Standard” to directly enter the item description, or click “HTML” to use HTML code to add a more complex item description. After editing and entering the HTML code in “HTML”, click “Standard” to see the editing effect. If you edit directly in “Standard”, you can use the toolbar to make simple layout settings for the item description.
