How can new merchants on the Wish platform add new products efficiently?
Publishing product information is the basis for opening an online store. For new merchants who are new to the Wish platform, it is crucial to be familiar with the product upload process. The Wish platform supports three ways to upload products: manual upload, upload through CSV file, and upload through API interface. In order to help new merchants better understand the platform and its operating procedures, officials recommend that new merchants who log in for the first time upload manually.

1. Fill in basic information
Merchant can start adding new products through the management backend of the Wish platform by clicking the “Products” – “Manual Add” – “Manual” button. During this process, you need to fill in basic attributes such as product name, product description, tags (up to 10 can be added), and product ID. Once you complete the steps correctly, you’ll be confirmed with a green checkmark.
2. Upload product images
The Wish platform encourages merchants to upload high-quality product images to enhance consumer purchasing confidence and increase product exposure. There are three supported ways to upload images: drag and drop images directly, select images from your computer, and upload via image links. Among them, direct drag and drop is the easiest method.
3. Add product price, shipping and inventory information
Merchant needs to set the product selling price (including 15% platform commission), inventory quantity, shipping cost and estimated delivery time in this link. For the choice of delivery time, you can choose from the options provided by the platform, or enter the specific number of days yourself.
4. Add logistics information
Logistics information settings include but are not limited to the customs clearance name, quantity, packaging size, origin, HS code, and whether it contains special items (such as powder, liquid, battery or metal material).
5. Add size and color
To increase sales conversion rates, it is recommended to list all available colors and sizes of the product in detail. In terms of color selection, in addition to the default options, you can also customize more colors; in terms of size, you need to select the appropriate category (such as clothing, electronic products, etc.) according to the type of product, and then the system will automatically display the corresponding standard size Table for selection.
After completing the above steps, merchants can further improve additional information such as MRSP (manufacturer’s recommended retail price), brand name, product URL link and barcode to make the product page richer. Finally, click the “Submit” button to complete the product launch.
