Temu’s guide to creating a shipping warehouse and managing it in semi-managed mode
In the TEMU semi-managed model, creating and managing shipping warehouses is a key step to ensure efficient distribution of goods. This article will introduce in detail how to create a shipping warehouse on the TEMU platform and provide corresponding management guidelines.
Log in to the backend and switch to the semi-managed store
First, merchants need to log in to the TEMU official website and enter the merchant backend. If a merchant has multiple stores, he or she needs to switch to a store with the “semi-hosted” logo.
Create a shipping warehouse
Step 1: Enter the warehouse address management module
Click “Distribution Management-Warehouse Address Management” on the homepage to jump to the order management page.
Step 2: Edit shipping warehouse information
Click “Create Shipping Warehouse”, expand the Edit Shipping Warehouse drawer, and edit the following information in sequence:
- Warehouse name: Merchants can customize the warehouse name according to their own needs. It supports bilingual editing in Chinese and English to facilitate subsequent management and identification.
- Contact person: Fill in the contact information of the shipping warehouse. It also supports bilingual editing in Chinese and English to ensure that relevant personnel can be contacted quickly when needed.
- Contact information: Fill in the contact information of the corresponding country/region of the delivery warehouse. Note that phone numbers in non-delivery areas are not supported to avoid unnecessary trouble during the delivery process.
- Warehouse address: Enter the address keyword, select the state/city address corresponding to the shipping warehouse, and enter detailed address information. Please note that the address must be written in English and no special characters are allowed.
- Address zip code: Fill in the city zip code corresponding to the warehouse to ensure the accuracy of the address information.
- Set the default shipping warehouse: If a merchant has multiple shipping warehouses, you can choose to set a commonly used warehouse as the default shipping warehouse for quick selection during the subsequent shipping process.
After submission, a shipping warehouse information will be created corresponding to the shipping warehouse list.
Delete abandoned warehouse
Merchant can delete abandoned shipping warehouses. Before deleting a warehouse, you need to unbind the warehouse’s delivery template.
How to handle rejected returned items
- When the package is determined to be rejected, the system will send a [Rejected Package Processing Reminder] to the seller. Please pay attention to receiving the notification in the message center.
- Sellers can copy the package number in the message notification and search for the package number in “Inventory Management-Return Package Management”. Choose to click [Confirm Abandonment] or [Confirm Pickup].
- After clicking [Confirm Self-Pickup], you can contact the docking operation to obtain the address and contact information of the self-pickup warehouse, and then go to the warehouse to complete the pickup.
- If the seller does not select [Confirm Pickup] or [Confirm Abandonment] within 7*24 hours, it will be deemed that the seller agrees to abandon the goods, and the system will treat it as abandoned.
Through the above steps, merchants can successfully create and manage delivery warehouses to ensure smooth product distribution and improve service quality and efficiency.
