The haze of the epidemic has gradually dissipated, but the sales of masks are still high. As a well-known e-commerce platform, can Jumia meet consumers’ demand for masks? Can merchants sell masks on Jumia?
Jumia Asia Pacific:
Now on the Jumia platform, international merchants can sell masks!
Everyone has different management regulations for masks for different logistics modes. Let’s take a closer look~
First of all, for international merchants, there are two logistics modes to send mask products to African countries:
1. Direct mail mode (Drop Shipping)
2. Overseas warehouse mode (FBJ)
Jumia Asia Pacific:
Jumia Asia Pacific has a complete mask product management mechanism based on different logistics modes:
1. Direct mail mode (Drop Shipping)
Jumia Asia Pacific has established a “white list” of merchants allowed to sell mask products. In other words, merchants approved by Jumia Asia Pacific to enter the “white list” can sell non-medical mask products through direct mail. Merchants who have not yet entered the “white list” cannot currently sell mask products through direct mail.
2. Overseas warehouse model (FBJ)
Currently, Jumia has opened overseas warehouse business for 9 international websites. All merchants can sell non-medical mask products through the overseas warehouse model (FBJ). Merchants only need to communicate with logistics service providers about transportation customs clearance and other related issues. After arriving at the destination country and entering the warehouse, they can sell.
Important reminder:
Currently, the mask products allowed to be sold on the Jumia platform are all non-medical mask products. The sale of all medical mask products is prohibited, including direct mail mode and overseas warehouse mode.
