The registration process of the Lazada platform is relatively simple and is mainly divided into five steps.

(I) Submit an application and sign an electronic contract

The specific steps for submitting an application and signing an electronic contract are as follows:

Step 1: Log in to the Lazada official website and click “Sell on Lazada” at the top of the official website.

Step 2: Click “Become a Seller Now” after entering the new page.

Step 3: Create a seller account on the new page. After completing the account creation, fill in the seller information.

Step 4: After submission, the system will prompt that the application form has been submitted, and then the electronic contract will be received in the mailbox.

Step 5: Sign the electronic contract. The seller needs to download the contract himself, sign and seal it, and then send it back to the original mailbox in the form of a scanned copy.

(II) Activate the Seller Center

The seller will receive an email titled “Registration for Seller Center”. After that, the seller will receive a series of emails to log in to the seller center and change the password, as well as training emails. Each Lazada site requires the seller to log in again to change the password.

(III) Participate in training

After the seller receives the email titled “Get trained and pass the test”, the seller can choose:

(1) Participate in online real-person onboarding training;

(2) Watch the onboarding video and courseware on your own, and pass Lazada’s onboarding test, with a mastery of more than 50% of the content.

It should be noted that the training time is approximately 120 minutes, and the test score must be greater than 85 points.

(IV) Connect with cross-border payment methods

This step does not affect the progress of the Lazada store launch, but it is strongly recommended to connect as soon as possible.

(V) At least 1 SKU passes the review

The next step is to log in to the seller center backend to upload the SKU and click on the “Upload your first SKU” email. The seller uploads the SKU to the seller center backend according to the content instructions, and at least 1 SKU passes the review (the review usually takes 3 working days). After the review is passed, the store is successfully established.
