After registering a store on Shopify, you need to understand some basic operations of opening a store. For example, the first thing you should understand is uploading products in the store. In fact, the process of uploading products also includes some subdivided operations. Therefore, this article will introduce how to upload product images to shopify?
1. Add new products.
1. In the background, go to Products > All Products.
2. Click to add products.
3. Enter the title and other details of the product.
4. Click Save.
2. Copy products.
Many sellers want to save time when uploading products, so they can copy the product and then make any changes to add a new product. If you want to add options to a product (such as color or size), add the attributes to an existing product rather than duplicating the product.
1. In the background, go to Products > All Products.
2. Click the name of the product you want to copy.
3. Click Copy.
4. Enter the name of the duplicate product and click Copy.
5. Modify product details.
6. Click Save.
3. Edit products.
After creating products, sellers can edit them to change their description, price, and any other product details. Sellers can change existing products in the backend, but they cannot change them using the POS app.
Note: While sellers can change product details at any time, changes may affect reporting.
The saved changes will take effect immediately in the seller’s online Shopify store.
Tip: To edit multiple products at once, use the bulk editor as described in Bulk editing of products and variants.
4. What about the option to add product purchase quantity?
Up to 100 multiple attributes can be created for products. Each product can have up to 3 options. Options may vary from product to product. For example, one product can use size, color, and style, and another product can use weight, decoration, and material.
If you want to increase the number of multiple attributes and option limits, you can only use third-party apps in the app store.
If the product that needs to be sold has more than 100 multiple attributes or more than 3 options, the seller can customize the template code to extract the multiple attributes of the order product to obtain customization requirements from customers.
The store uploads product images during the process of uploading products. It is generally recommended that sellers first understand the platform’s requirements for product images, then create relevant product images, and then upload them in the above way without any problem. Otherwise, the image cannot be uploaded if it does not meet the requirements.
