When registering for platform events, many novice sellers will inevitably make mistakes when setting product event prices. It is recommended that you check carefully when submitting the event price of a product to avoid losses caused by incorrect setting of the event price. However, if you accidentally fill in the wrong information when registering for platform activities and filling in product activity prices, you need to exit the platform activities in time. Remember: this is a last resort measure and will not have much impact on the store.
However, whether you can exit a platform activity is directly related to the activity status. If the activity is approved and the product status is waiting to be displayed, you cannot exit the platform activity. Sellers must know this. You can exit the event only if the product is not reviewed. Select “Activities to be confirmed” and find the activity you need to exit.
If a seller submits multiple products at the same time and finds a product with incorrect activity information settings, click “Cancel Registration”.
Platform Shopping Voucher Activities
1. What is Shopping Voucher Activities
Shopping Voucher Activities refer to activities in which the platform proposes basic activity rules and sellers sign up to participate. Shopping coupons are issued to buyers by the platform. After buyers receive them, they can be used in a single store, or they can be used in combined orders across stores with the same threshold.
For example, store A offers a discount of US$2 for purchases over US$15, and store B offers a discount of US$2 for purchases over US$15. The shopping coupons can be used across stores only if the thresholds are the same. Reduce Y USD for every X USD spent, with no upper limit.
Set corresponding thresholds and denominations according to the basic rules given by the platform. When buyers place orders at stores participating in the event, if they meet the single store threshold and have a remaining number of pieces, they can place an order. (Quantity and amount are limited).
Sellers cannot issue shopping coupons, and the denomination is a fixed value. Some platform promotions will require you to set up a qualifying shopping coupon activity first (please refer to the requirements of each platform activity for details). The system will provide an event registration entrance based on whether a qualifying shopping coupon activity has been set up.
2. Issuance method and display location of shopping coupons
There are multiple issuance channels for shopping coupons on the platform.
Shopping coupons will be displayed on the buyer’s side through multiple channels.
3. How to sign up for a shopping voucher event
The first step is to find the relevant shopping voucher event in the shopping voucher event list and click “Register Event”.
The second step is to set the total discount amount and select the shopping coupon denomination threshold according to the activity requirements.
After editing, click “Confirm” to complete the registration for the entire shopping voucher activity.
At the same time, for the coupons in use, you can click “View Details” to replenish the shopping coupon amount.
4. How buyers use shopping vouchers
(1) Conditions for using shopping vouchers. When placing an order for use, buyers must meet three conditions at the same time. It can only be used by stores that participate in shopping voucher activities; the store still has remaining shopping vouchers; the amount purchased by the buyer must meet the threshold set by the seller.
(2) Shopping coupons can be used in combination with other store-level and platform-level discounts. In this case, the order of calculation of discounts when placing an order is: single product discount—one store coupon for each store discount —Shopping coupons—Platform coupons—Platform discounts.
(3) The shopping coupon discount is reduced by USD y for every USD x amount, with no upper limit. The prerequisite for use is that the amount of the product purchased by the buyer reaches the shopping coupon requirement. For example, you can get $2 off for orders over $15, $4 off for orders over $30, $6 off for orders over $45, $8 off for orders over $60, and so on.
(4) The issue of deduction of shopping vouchers. A single shopping voucher can be used for cross-store orders and can be split into multiple stores for use, that is, buyers can combine orders across stores to meet the threshold and use shopping vouchers. However, the thresholds supported by these stores must be the same. They are split according to the proportion of the order amount. The previous stores will round off individual deductions to two decimal places. The amount of shopping vouchers deducted by the last seller is the amount of the shopping vouchers used (all the previous shopping vouchers are deducted sum).
(5) The rules after placing an order for shopping vouchers, that is, the after-sales rules are as follows. When a buyer places an order, part of the shopping coupon will be directly deducted from the order amount. For example, if the buyer’s order exceeds US$15 and meets the requirement of US$15 off US$2 shopping vouchers, the buyer only needs to pay the deducted amount of US$13 shopping vouchers without releasing the money to the seller, and no commission will be deducted from this part of the amount (the account is not involved) funds).
Orders using shopping vouchers can be refunded in normal disputes (if used across stores, refunds will be made in proportion to the payment), but the amount that buyers can dispute for refund is only the payment amount (excluding the shopping voucher amount) ). Only when the order using a shopping voucher is fully refunded and the shopping voucher is still within the validity period, the shopping voucher will be returned to the buyer’s shopping voucher balance, otherwise it will not be refunded.
