Lazada does not require sellers to make any upfront investment, does not require store deposits or logistics deposits, and does not charge sellers monthly fees or any other regular fees. However, there are some types of fees that you need to be aware of.
Lazada fees include the following items.
(1) Order commission: Depending on the product category, the fee ranges from 1% to 4% of the product selling price.
(2) Value-added tax (GST): Value-added tax depends on the country/region where your products are sold. Malaysia’s VAT rate is 6% of the product price, Singapore and Thailand are 7%, Vietnam and Indonesia are 10%, and the Philippines has a higher tax rate of 12%.
(3) Account processing fee (payment fee): 2% of total sales.
(4) Shipping cost: It depends on the product type and the country/region where the product needs to be delivered, mainly including the shipping cost from the merchant address to the domestic sorting center, and the cost from the sorting center to the destination country. The local logistics freight is usually paid by the buyer. Of course, the seller can also provide free shipping, but this part of the cost must be taken into account when calculating the product price.
