In an era where traffic is king, Facebook is the largest social networking site in the world. Naturally, many people promote on Facebook. However, there is an undeniable fact. Facebook advertising accounts are easily blocked for no apparent reason, and complaints are often obtained. The reply is unrecoverable.

In December 2018, Facebook announced that the average number of daily active users was 1.52 billion; the number of monthly active users was 2.32 billion; in the fourth quarter of 2018, Facebook’s mobile advertising revenue accounted for approximately 93%. Facebook’s social dominance is untouchable. Only when the number of users and platform activity continues to grow steadily can there be continuous growth in financial reporting data and advertising revenue. Therefore, user experience is a top priority that cannot be bypassed.

Many sellers register on Facebook for the purpose of brushing up orders and advertising. So they are like robots every day, frantically adding friends and groups, sending the same message everywhere, using the same picture, and even the same link. It would be strange if they don’t get banned.

Just imagine if this was your normal personal social account, would you post the same message and picture every day? Such an operation will cause Facebook to determine that your account is abnormal, so it will be suspended soon.

Below I’ve summarized a few key points for you to easily get your account banned, remember it!

1. The information is untrue

Try to use your real name and information. Your name should be in Chinese or Pinyin. Your avatar should be a real person. Don’t beautify it too much. The main reason is that once your account is blocked, it is easiest to successfully appeal with your passport and other documents.

2. IP changes frequently

Due to VPN issues, many advertisers’ IPs are very unstable. Sometimes, a user’s IP will be linked to several regions in a day (this situation will cause early warning for almost all Internet accounts). Therefore, when you circumvent the firewall, you should try to ensure that your IP does not change all the time.

3. Payment issues

It is best to use a credit card with the same name as your account number, do not change it frequently, and do not let the credit card become overdue or overdrafted. If possible, try to make the credit card issuing place and IP address the same, such as Hong Kong. Although others are possible, it is ideal if the name, issuing place, IP, etc. are consistent.

4. Imitation and fake goods

For imitations, counterfeit goods and illegal products, the policies for these three categories can be summarized as “kill without mercy and execute immediately”. Once verified, it will be blocked immediately without any leeway.

5. 301 redirect

I applied for an account for a legitimate website, but later used a 301 redirect to jump to a fake website.

6. A runs B

Apply for an account to run website A or application, and use it to run website or application B, or put both in one account. Considering the domestic policies and resource scarcity regarding FB accounts, this is a very common behavior.

But this actually does not meet our account usage requirements, so FB has comprehensively launched an education policy for agents to restrict “A running away from B”. In fact, there are many behaviors that may lead to account closure, so you must abide by FB’s platform rules and page terms.

What to do if your account is suspended? To be honest, it’s not that easy to appeal now, so I suggest you start from the source and don’t wait until your account is banned.

Daily operation suggestions

1. Account maintenance

The indispensable first step for a troll to post ads is to maintain an account. Don’t just post ads after getting an account. If you don’t block someone else, who will be blocked? You should maintain your account in the early stage, post some content that has nothing to do with advertising, and keep it active.

2. Regularly maintain personal Profile

As a social platform, try to make the content of your personal homepage as authentic as possible, use real person avatars, add real friends, and interact more. Since everyone is using FB ads, they should regularly update their personal homepage status, post some content, and regularly log in to the account with a stable IP address to maintain activity, so that it does not look like a “fake account.”

2. Credit card with good record

Apply for your own credit card and maintain your credit history. If you bind a credit card with a poor record, there is also the possibility of being “simplified”.

Of course, if the IP is blocked, you can solve it through the following methods

Go to Security Settings (> Settings > Security) and click the checkbox in the Login Permissions section and save the changes. A few notes: To turn on Login Permissions, you need to have a mobile phone number in your account. A number can be added to the account when login permission is turned on.

If you are using a device that has not yet been named, you will be asked to do so when you turn on login permission. If you are using a computer that is shared with others (for example, a library computer), do not click the Save Device option.

When you enable login permission, we need to remember your computer and browser information so that we can recognize you the next time you log in. Some browser features prevent this information from being saved. If you have private browsing turned on or your browser is set to clear your history each time you close it, you may have to enter the code each time you log in.

Please note that what we discussed above is the issue of FB advertising account being blocked, not that your FB account is blocked.
