After determining the logistics channel to be shipped, let’s take a look at how to set up the freight template. We first open the “Product Management” – “Template Management” – “Freight Template” in the background. Click “Add Freight Template” and enter the name of the freight template. If you have an overseas warehouse, you can click “Click here to apply for overseas shipping location setting permission” to apply. After this step is set, click the “Save” button.
Let’s start editing the freight template. Since most sellers will ship through China Post registered small parcel, we will take the postal parcel as an example to demonstrate. As long as you have learned to set the freight template for postal parcel, other templates Same thing.
If we send China Post registered small parcels, just check it. If there are multiple logistics channels, then check all the supported ones. We must have many to do “AliExpress” Logistics channels, the more logistics methods are set up, the richer the choices for buyers will be. Here we will introduce the postal parcel. Leave the others unchecked for now. In the postal parcel, you can directly set the standard freight, promised delivery time, and the seller’s freight. In the standard freight, you can directly enter the discount we give to the freight. If it’s a full discount, enter 0%. If it’s free shipping worldwide, check the box and the seller will bear the shipping costs. Enter the promised delivery time here, the number of days it takes to deliver to all countries in the world, that is, if you enter 60 days, it means that you promise to deliver to all countries in the world within 60 days. It is generally not recommended to set it directly here. It is best for us to customize the settings. First, let’s set the custom delivery time and check the custom delivery time.
This is a custom delivery time setting. You can set how long it takes for certain countries or regions to be delivered. You can select countries according to six continents, or you can select countries according to regions. Here we will select countries according to six continents. First, select Africa as a demonstration. Click “Show All” behind Africa to display all countries in Africa.
The countries marked in red font are popular countries, which are countries that often shop on AliExpress. Before setting the delivery time for different countries, you can refer to the delivery time table for registered postal parcels. You can ask the freight forwarder for a copy of this table. Basically, most countries will deliver goods within the specified time. Only three countries, Russia, Brazil, and Argentina, have slower delivery times. These three countries generally set delivery times within 90 days.
In the selected prompt, we can see which countries are selected. The following is to set the delivery time for these countries as a few days. For example, we now select the country marked in red and refer to the delivery time table. If you know it will take about 50 days to deliver, then fill in 50 days. If you are a novice friend who has never sent this logistics before, you can set it longer, which is safer. Other countries with black fonts are also set up in this way, so I won’t demonstrate more.
The next step is to introduce a problem that many novice friends have trouble with, which is how to set the delivery time to 90 days in the three countries of Russia, Brazil, and Argentina?
If you want to set the delivery time to 90 days for Russia, Brazil, and Argentina, just select these three countries. Do not select other countries. Finally, enter the promised delivery time below. 90 days, then the delivery time for these three countries is set.
Now we see that the delivery time in these three countries has been set to 90 days. If the system does not support selecting three countries at the same time, just set each country individually. After all countries are set, there will be a prompt at the bottom. If the buyer is not in the above countries/regions, how many days will it take to set it up? It is recommended to set the longest period of 60 days and click “Save” after everything is completed.
Next, we will set custom shipping costs and click “Custom Shipping Fees” to start setting shipping costs for different countries. Many novice friends who have just started AliExpress are not familiar with these countries. In order to let everyone understand better, let me give an example. We regard the countries marked in red fonts as our domestic regions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, etc. The black fonts The countries are regarded as Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Guizhou and other central regions, and some remote countries are regarded as Xinjiang, Tibet and other regions.
We all know that when shopping in China, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai are mostly free of charge. The central region of the country generally charges part of the shipping fee, while remote areas such as Xinjiang and Tibet charge the full shipping fee. The same is true in the “AliExpress” shipping template settings. We can regard a certain country as a province in the country, which is easier to understand.
After understanding, we first select the country as before, and then set shipping discounts for different countries. In the demonstration, I checked all the countries marked in red in the six continents, and then set the seller to bear the shipping costs. .
In setting the freight type, you can choose one of the seller’s freight, standard freight, and custom freight, or you can choose not to ship. Here we choose the seller to bear the shipping costs, and click the “Confirm Add” button after selection.
Let’s set the standard shipping fee without free shipping. After selecting the country, select standard freight in the freight type option. The freight reduction rate we filled in is 20%, which means that the freight forwarder gave us a 20% discount on freight. If there is no discount, enter 0%. Everyone fills in according to their own discount. .
Next, let’s look at how to set custom freight. When we select custom freight in the freight type box, we also need to choose whether to set freight by weight or quantity. Let’s first introduce how to set freight by weight. Here you can enter the first weight in kilograms and freight of a product. For example, if the conditions we fill in are that the first weight is 0.5 kilogram, or 500 grams, and the first weight shipping fee is US$10, then if the buyer chooses a product of 0.5 kg when shopping, then the shipping fee will be US$10. You can also set the additional kilogram range below. If the product is within the range of 0.5kg to 2kg, a shipping fee of US$8 will be added for each additional 0.5kg. This should be very easy to understand, and I believe everyone understands it.
The method of setting freight by quantity is very similar to that of setting freight by weight. However, if you set freight by quantity, it will not be calculated by weight but by purchase quantity. We have set a minimum purchase quantity of 1 piece and a maximum purchase quantity of 1 piece. The quantity is 10, which means that the buyer can buy a minimum of 1 product and a maximum of 10 products. We fill in the first shipping fee of 10 US dollars, which means the shipping cost of buying one product is 10 US dollars. For each additional product, an additional 8 US dollars of shipping cost will be added. After setting up, click “Confirm Add”.
Finally, there is also a “If the buyer is not in the shipping country or region I set” that needs to be set. Don’t forget. If the buyer is not in the shipping country or region we set, we can set the criteria. Shipping fee or no shipping. However, we are all doing business and it is best not to choose not to ship. If you have to choose some countries for non-delivery, you can set it to not deliver. For the standard shipping cost here, we will just fill in 0% and not give discounts to these countries. In this way, the entire freight template is set up. Finally, click the “Save” button, and then click “Save” at the bottom.
Many people forget to click the “Save” button at the bottom. You must remember to click it, otherwise the hard-working freight template will be in vain.
