1. What is Add-on discount?
There are two types of Add-on activities, namely, single product add-on and full amount gift.
① Single product add-on: Sellers can combine related products in the store, allowing buyers to add products at a preferential price to increase store sales.
② Full amount gift: Sellers can add gifts, and buyers can get free gifts when they purchase specific products to a specified amount.
2. Why set up Add-on discount?
Using Add-on activities can get the following benefits. ①Increase product exposure and clicks. ②Increase customer unit price.
③Increase store product sales.
3 Steps to add Add-on discount
Path to enter “Add-on”: Seller Center > My Marketing Activities > Add-on. Set up “Add-on” activity: single product add-on.
a. Promotion type: You can choose “Add-on discount” or “Gifts for minimum purchase”.
b. Promotion name: Enter the name of the activity, up to 25 characters can be entered, etc.
c. The time is set to one hour after the start time. The start time must be at least one hour later than the current time. Once the activity is successfully set, it can only end early and cannot be extended.
d. Purchase limit for add-on items: Set the maximum number of items that a buyer can purchase when purchasing a main item. Currently, if a buyer purchases the same main item, the buyer of the same add-on item can only purchase one item.
Complete the add-on discount.
e. Main item: Click the “Add main item” button. If the main item is not added, the add-on item and set item order buttons will not be clickable.
f. Add-on items: Click the “Add add-on item” button. In the same add-on combination, the buyer can only purchase one of the same add-on items.
【Note】
You can only set up additional purchase items after successfully setting up the main product.
4. Practical skills for adding extra purchases
①Use products with high traffic as main products, and products with low traffic as additional purchase products to increase the traffic of additional purchase products. For example, use hot-selling products to bring new models, and use advertising products to bring non-advertising products.
②Use the traffic-generating products as the main products, and the profit-making products as additional purchase products, increase the exposure of the profit-making products, drive orders for the profit-making products, and increase store profits.
③Set the traffic-generating products as the main products, and the additional purchase products as potential hot-selling products. The price of the additional purchase products is 1 yuan. In this way, the sales and evaluation of potential hot-selling products can be quickly accumulated to achieve the purpose of evaluation.
④ Regarding “full-amount purchase”, the seller specially sets up a gift link of “giving the same style”, so as to achieve the purpose of giving the same style for multiple products.
