1. Logistics service
Shopee Vietnam’s cross-border logistics mainly uses SLS, which is currently only available to sellers in mainland China.
2. COD (cash on delivery) service
SLS Vietnam supports two payment methods: COD and non-COD.
Non-line payment and payment can be settled by credit bank transfer and other methods. COD includes the supplier collecting payment and freight from the consignee, and the buyer does not need to pay online after placing an order.
3. Logistics timeliness and reference rate

At the same time, in order to support cross-border sellers to expand categories (such as home life, fashion shoes and bags, maternal and child toys, auto parts and motorcycle parts, small appliances, outdoor sports and other categories with high weight segments), Shopee has launched the SLS heavy goods channel for sellers. The heavy goods channel seller freight reference and timeliness.

②For the standards and procedures for sellers to apply for the opening of the heavy goods channel, please consult the corresponding account manager.
③List of categories applicable to heavy goods imports (secondary US and Japan). Real sellers need to ask the corresponding account manager for it.
2. Special restrictions and regulations on logistics channels
1) SLS restrictions and regulations
In addition to the restrictions and prohibitions clearly stipulated by Vietnamese and Chinese laws and regulations, the use of the SLS Vietnam logistics channel also needs to pay attention to the following special restrictions.
①Package weight limit: package weight ≤10kg. ②The single side length of the package is ≤0.7m.
③100 will be subject to additional tax by the customs, and the tax shall be borne by the seller. ④Some products are not yet available for transportation through the SLS channel. For specific products, please refer to the “Shopee Platform Cross-border Seller Logistics Guide Manual”.
⑤There is a customs intellectual property registration certificate for the destination country or region, and the brand’s local market sales authorization, otherwise the customs will confiscate the goods and impose a fine.
⑥Perfume can be shipped to Vietnam. The capacity of each package of perfume shall not exceed 500ml, and the seller shall strengthen the packaging according to the requirements for fragile packaging. If the goods are damaged due to improper packaging by the seller, the responsibility shall be borne by the seller.
⑦If serious prohibited items are found, they will be withheld, destroyed or reported to the relevant departments for processing in accordance with the “Regulations on the Management of Prohibited Items”. Taxes, fines and related expenses incurred by the seller due to violation of the embargo list will be borne by the seller.
5. About delivery
Sellers who use SLS logistics services need to send the parcel to the SLS transfer warehouse designated by Shopee to complete the delivery. Please check the specific delivery address and contact information on the Shopee website.
6. SLS last-mile delivery in Vietnam
SLS last-mile delivery in Vietnam will be delivered three times for free.
After the first delivery fails, the SLS last-mile carrier will make two more deliveries within five days. If the recipient requests to arrange the delivery after five days, the SLS last-mile carrier will inform the recipient that it cannot be arranged and return the parcel to the Shopee Vietnam warehouse. If the carrier cannot contact the buyer, the parcel will be temporarily returned to the Shopee Vietnam warehouse and Shopee customer service will be notified to wait for the processing result. Shopee customer service will then try to contact the buyer to confirm further delivery details. If the parcel is unclaimed or the buyer cannot be contacted within 7 days, the parcel that meets the return requirements will automatically enter the return process, and the parcel that does not meet the return requirements will be destroyed by the warehouse.
7. Settlement of logistics costs
Sellers who have opened accounts on the platform will settle directly with the platform. Currently, the Shopee platform will charge sellers for all orders (including normal delivery, rejection, and orders for which buyers apply for refunds and returns) according to the actual shipping costs. After the transaction is completed, the transaction amount paid will be paid to the seller by Shopee after deducting all related fees.
