Step 1: Log in to the Wish platform and start creating a store. The first step in the registration process for sellers on the Wish platform is to open china-merchant.wish.com and log in to your account and click the “Open a store now” button.
Step 2: Start creating a Wish store. On the “Start creating a seller’s Wish store” page, select the language you are familiar with. Then, enter your commonly used email address in the designated location, which will become the username for logging into your account in the future. If you already have a Wish seller account, you can directly click “Log in”. Next, set a login password that is no less than 8 characters long and contains letters, numbers and symbols. To further protect the security of your account, you need to enter your mobile phone number and verification code.
Step 3: Read and accept the Wish and Merchant Agreement. On the “Wish and Merchant Agreement” page, read the Merchant Agreement carefully and click the checkbox at the bottom of the page to accept the terms of the agreement.
Step 4: Email Verification. Wish will send a verification email to the email address you provided when registering. Please click “Check Email Now” and log in to your email to confirm. Click “Confirm Email” or the URL link in the email to jump directly to the merchant backend.
Step 5: Fill in key merchant information. On the “Tell Wish More About You” page, fill in the necessary merchant information. Enter the store name, but be careful not to include the word “Wish” as this is restricted. Once the store name is determined, it cannot be changed. Next, fill in your first and last name and accurate address information. Click “Next” to continue the registration process.
Step 6: Real-name Authentication. The corporate account is authenticated in this step. Please prepare the business license and legal representative ID information of the company. Enter the company name of the company and make sure that individual industrial and commercial households cannot be used as corporate accounts. Then, enter your company’s unified social credit code and upload a clear, color photo of the business license.
Next, fill in the name and ID number of the legal representative (legal person). Upload your verification photo and click “Next” to enter the payment selection. You can choose from a variety of payment methods, such as Payoneer, Payeco, etc. After confirmation, click “Next Page” to submit the information. From October 1, 2018, newly registered stores will need to pay a store prepaid registration fee of US$2,000.
