Amazon’s Early Reviewer Program is a way for Amazon to conduct internal reviews. It is a way for Amazon to provide sellers with the first review, so as to help sellers increase sales of new products.
Evaluation Rules for the Early Reviewer Program
The Early Reviewer Program is mainly designed to help products with no reviews or few reviews to effectively obtain more real reviews. Buyers who have purchased products participating in the “Early Reviewer Program” have the opportunity to be invited by Amazon to provide reviews of these products. As long as the buyer completes it within a limited time, Amazon will provide the buyer with a shopping gift (such as a $1 to $3 Amazon voucher) in return, regardless of whether the buyer makes a positive or negative review. If a product receives an early review, there will be a special orange “Early Reviewer Rewards” logo under the Review.
The Early Reviewer Program does not provide buyers with free or discounted products, and this program is not for specific reviewers, but for all buyers.
In order to ensure that buyers do not selectively purchase products participating in the “Early Reviewer Program” in order to obtain gift money, buyers will not be informed whether the product participates in the “Early Reviewer Program” when purchasing a certain product. Amazon randomly selects from all buyers who purchase the product. Only the most authentic reviews based on purchasing behavior and usage experience can be regarded as the most authentic reviews. Of course, the selected buyers will not know whether they will receive Amazon’s shopping gift money after leaving a review. This is also randomly selected by Amazon.
Sellers can choose products to participate in the “Early Reviewer Program” on their own, but sellers cannot communicate with buyers about reviews to avoid sellers influencing the content of buyers’ reviews. Of course, sellers cannot decide which buyer can receive shopping money. Amazon will not modify or remove any reviews left through the “Early Reviewer Program.”
