In online transactions, buyers cannot see the real information of the product and can only judge based on the product’s pictures and descriptions. Therefore, it is particularly important to describe a product accurately and truthfully. There are several steps to publish a product on AliExpress.
step01 Enter the product release page.
Log in to AliExpress and click the “Publish Product” hyperlink on the left to enter the product release page.
step02 Select a category.
Sellers must select categories based on the actual categories to which their products belong, so that buyers can find your products more quickly.
step03 Fill in the basic attributes of the product.
Product attributes include two aspects: system-defined attributes and custom attributes. Product attributes are an important basis for buyers to choose products. Sellers can increase exposure opportunities by filling in system-defined attributes and custom attributes in detail and accurately. Filling in custom attributes can supplement information other than system-defined attributes, allowing buyers to have a more comprehensive understanding of the product.
step04 Fill in the title.
The product title is an important factor for buyers to search for sellers and attract buyers to enter the product details page. The title should not have too many words and should be as accurate, complete and concise as possible. A good title can include the name, core words and important attributes of the product.
Be careful not to list or pile up words with the same meaning in the title, otherwise it will be judged as title piling.
step05 Set product pictures.
When selecting product pictures, you can choose to publish multi-image products. The pictures of multi-image products can show the goods for sale in an all-round and multi-angle manner, greatly increasing buyers’ interest in the goods. Multi-image products can display up to 6 pictures.
step06 Set different attributes for the same product.
For the same product, the price of the product will be different due to different colors, and the inventory will also be different, which can be set separately. When setting prices for different colors, be sure to pay attention to whether the product is sold in packages or individually; for each color product, you can upload a reduced picture of the product, or select a system-defined color card; for the same product, you can set the inventory of the product according to different colors.
step07 Set a brief description and detailed description of the product.
Try to introduce the main advantages and features of the product in a concise and clear manner. Do not copy the product title into the brief description. A detailed description of the product is an important factor in allowing buyers to fully understand the product and generate an intention to place an order. An excellent product description can enhance buyers’ desire to buy and speed up buyers’ order placement.
step08 Set packaging.
When filling in the packaging information, be sure to accurately fill in the weight and size of the product after packaging, which is directly related to the shipping price.
step09 Set shipping.
Reasonable shipping can greatly reduce the cost of the product. Therefore, before setting it, be sure to confirm the logistics price and discount with the logistics company, and then define the shipping. There are currently two options.
(1) Directly select the complete novice shipping template. Later, you can choose to use the logistics service provider that cooperates with AliExpress or contact the freight forwarding company to ship the goods.
(2) Select a custom shipping template. According to your own experience and the logistics discount negotiated with the express company, set a reasonable transportation method and price.
Step 10 Set other information
(1) Select the correct product grouping to facilitate buyers to find products in the store, and also facilitate sellers to manage products in the future.
(2) The product validity period refers to the time the product is displayed after the review is successful.
After the seller has edited the product, click the “Submit” button, and you will see that the product has entered the review. You can check the review status of the product after 24 hours. After the review is passed, buyers can search for the seller’s products.
