Credit and sales speculation
(1) For sellers who are identified by the platform as having engaged in credit and sales speculation, the platform will delete their illegal credit points and sales records, refund orders involved in credit and sales speculation, and impose penalties of 30-day account freeze, 60-day account freeze, or expulsion, depending on the severity of their violations.
(2) For sellers who are identified by the platform as having engaged in credit and sales speculation for the second time, the platform will expel them regardless of the severity of their behavior.
Illegal profiteering
Illegal profiteering refers to the behavior of members seeking benefits through improper means, including: ① providing property, consumption, entertainment or business opportunities to AliExpress staff and/or their affiliates; ② members seeking improper benefits from AliExpress staff through other means.
(1) If a member seeks improper profit, regardless of whether or not he/she has gained any profit, his/her store and its affiliated stores will be permanently closed, and AliExpress will not provide or accept any products or services from him/her forever; if a member violates the unfair profit clauses of the aforementioned websites or has other dishonest behaviors and his/her account is closed by the aforementioned websites during the use of the services provided by AliExpress affiliated companies (including but not limited to Alibaba China, International, Taobao, Tmall, etc.), AliExpress has the right to perform the same operation on the account owned or actually controlled by the member on the AliExpress website.
(2) AliExpress will not provide or accept any products or services from the operating service provider who engages in unfair profit-seeking behavior. Other stores operated by the operating service provider should also operate on their own or change the operating service provider within three months from the date of receiving the notice from AliExpress. If the deadline is exceeded, AliExpress will supervise the relevant stores until the execution is completed.
(3) If a member who engages in unfair profit-making behavior truthfully declares and/or actively reports the situation truthfully, AliExpress will give a lighter or mitigated punishment at its discretion.
(4) From the date of the investigation of a member’s unfair profit-making, AliExpress will restrict the member’s store and its affiliated stores from participating in AliExpress marketing activities until the investigation is completed.
(5) If a member clearly expresses his intention to make unfair profits to AliExpress staff and/or their affiliated persons or has begun to implement unfair profit-making behavior, but fails to succeed due to reasons beyond the member’s control, the member’s store will be permanently closed.
(6) Any of the following circumstances shall be deemed as unfair profit-making behavior.
① If the merchant is an AliExpress staff member, the member’s store will be directly closed.
② If the merchant is an affiliated person of an AliExpress staff member and the AliExpress staff member fails to make a truthful declaration in accordance with the provisions of the Alibaba Group’s Code of Business Conduct and the AliExpress staff member uses the convenience of his position, the member’s store will be directly closed.
