In this data report, sellers should focus on reading data about sales and visits, such as “Number of Products Ordered”, “Number of Buyer Visits”, “Number of Page Views”, “Unit Session Percentage”, and “Unit Session Percentage”. The following will focus on explaining the purchase button page view rate and page view number.
Purchase button page view rate: The percentage of page views of the product page that obtains the gold shopping cart purchase button in the total number of page views.
Page Views: The number of times the product details page is clicked and viewed by buyers within the selected time range, which is often referred to as PV. If the same user clicks 10 product details pages within 24 hours, then the PV is counted as 10 times. However, the number of buyer visits is only counted as 1 time, so the number of page views is generally much higher than the number of buyer visits. A higher PV means a higher exposure rate for the product, which is more beneficial to sales and conversion rates.
