How to edit product information and set up tax and returns on the Wish platform
When managing products on the Wish platform, editing product information is a common requirement. This article will detail how to edit product quantity attributes, quality attributes, remove variations, enable tax settings, and edit Wish Express return settings.
Edit product quantity attributes
The quantity attributes of products include price, shipping cost, inventory, etc. To edit the shipping cost of a product, directly find the product you want to edit on the product list page and click the “View” button under the “Country Shipping Price” column. Sellers can modify the international shipping costs of products for different countries or regions, and click the “Save” button when finished. Updating product inventory is also very simple. After updating the original inventory, click the “Update” button to save.
Edit product quality attributes
Product quality attributes include product name, product picture link, product label, product description, etc. Once you find the product you want to edit, click the “Actions” drop-down button on the right side of the end of the row of products and select the “Edit Product” option in the drop-down list. Open the “Edit Product” dialog box. After completing the required edits, click the “Update” button and the system will prompt that the update is successful.
Remove variations
Removing variants refers to the process of moving the sub-SKU of this product to another product. Enter the “Wish Merchant Platform” and remove the products. You can enter the product list through the “Products – View all uploaded products” menu command, click the “Actions” drop-down button on the right side of the end of the row of products, and select “Move Variation” in the drop-down list. ” option. It should be noted that variants cannot be removed for promotional (yellow diamond) products, and there is no “remove variant” option.
Enable and edit Tax Settings
In order to activate the “Tax Settings” of the Wish platform, first go to “Account” > “Tax Settings” on the Wish Merchant Platform and click “Set Up Now” to start. The wish Tax Settings homepage lists the countries where Wish stores can collect and file taxes and outlines important information about them. To set up tax settings for more countries, click Tax Settings to get started.
Please note that if you have not verified your store before, you need to click “Verify Store” first and then you can proceed with tax settings after passing verification. Next, select your country (i.e. business location). In this example, wish selects the United States as the country in the drop-down menu. Click “Continue” when finished. Merchants can then select their tax country. In this example, wish selects the United States and Austria as the taxing countries.
Because one or more European countries (Austria in this example) are selected as the tax country, merchants will be required to provide a default shipping location for standard and Wish Express orders destined for Europe. On the next page, merchants need to select the jurisdictions in which they have indirect tax obligations (such as sales tax, GST, and VAT).
Edit Wish Express return settings
After setting the Wish Express shipping country for the product, the “Edit Wish Express Return Settings” option will appear. Select the product for which you need to set up a return, and click the “Measures” → “Edit Wish Express Return Settings” menu to open the refund terms page. After agreeing to the return service terms, go to the Enable Returns page and click the “Enable Returns for this Product” button to enable the return function. Add a return warehouse and fill in the return warehouse address. If the return warehouse has been set up and there is no need to add a new return warehouse, this step can be omitted.
Notes include: Wish will prepare a return label form for the user, and the cost of the label form will be borne by the merchant; the merchant will bear the return processing fee, delivery fee and other return costs due to any reason; the merchant cannot Appeal the refund liability caused by the return; there is no “Edit Wish Express Return Settings” option for non-Wish Express products.
Product information and picture modification
Manually updating existing products is located in the “Products” → “Update existing products” → “Manual” menu. Find the product you want to edit on the product list page, and click “Measures” → “Edit Product” on the right side of the product to enter the editing interface of the product. Select the content that needs to be updated, such as title, main image, tags, description, additional images, optional information, each SKU information, etc., modify them respectively, and click the “Update” button.
If you modify the product information and pictures to make it a new product (another product), a warning will pop up that you will be fined $10. If you confirm that the modified content does not violate the policy requirements, you can directly click the “Update and Submit Product for Review” button to submit, and then get a notification that the update is successful. Product ID and parent SKU cannot be changed or deleted. If there is an error in filling in the parent SKU when adding a new product, you can only remove the parent SKU product from the shelves and re-add and upload a new product with the correct parent SKU. When adding a new product, you can only upload 10 additional product images, but click the “Add Image+” button in “Edit Product” to add 10 additional products based on the existing 10 additional images. picture.
