The Jumia platform provides three logistics modes: overseas warehouse, direct mail and surface mail. Merchants need to choose according to their own transportation timeliness and price requirements. The Jumia order processing and delivery process is an important step for merchants and customers. By analyzing and following these steps, merchants can better manage their business to ensure the smooth resolution and delivery of orders. Let’s take a look at the jumia logistics and transportation methods.
Jumia logistics and transportation methods:
1. Overseas warehouse mode (FBJ)
The overseas warehouse mode refers to cross-border merchants replenishing products to the Jumia warehouse in the destination country in advance according to air/sea transportation. After entering the warehouse, the FBJ SKU can be released. After the overseas warehouse mode order is generated, Jumia’s warehousing system will be directly connected to the distribution system, and cross-border merchants can query inventory and order information in the Seller Center. The overseas warehouse mode has the best delivery timeliness and can generally be delivered to customers within 24 hours.
2. Drop Shipping
Drop Shipping means that after receiving an order on the Jumia platform, international merchants can mail the ordered products to Jumia’s random collection warehouse, and the ordered products will be escorted by Jumia all the way to the customer. The logistics status can be tracked throughout the process, which is safe, reliable and timely. At present, Jumia has established six distribution points in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Xiamen, Hangzhou and Yiwu in China.
3. Postal
Postal means that after receiving an order on the Jumia platform, cross-border merchants mail the ordered products to Jumia’s random collection warehouse. The package is in the Jumia collection warehouse and transported to the destination country by the carrier. The local post office will clear customs and deliver it. This mode is relatively slow in timeliness, but the price is competitive and more suitable for small and low-priced products. Jumia has established four surface mail delivery points in Guangzhou, Dongguan, Hangzhou and Yiwu in China.
