The official definition of sales surge refers to the problem of abnormal increase in orders for product listings within a specific period of time. To be honest, I have been doing FBA for more than 10 years, and I have never encountered a large number of students doing FBM self-delivery. Others often encounter it in their daily operations. Some listings can reach 100 orders a day, some have 1 order a day, and some have 1 order a month. There are all kinds of situations, but they all received Amazon’s sales surge warning letters. At the same time, the relevant product listings were removed from the shelves. Therefore, I basically concluded that the sales surge is the upper limit set for self-delivery, which is a disguised incentive for sellers to switch to the FBA delivery mode to better improve the customer experience.

Sales Violation Complaints

1. One-piece dropshipping is prohibited

The complaint of dropshipping being prohibited refers to the seller shipping from the local third-party mall in the target market, such as Walmart, BESTBUY, etc., and directly from other well-known malls.

Although the seller has a real purchase record and formal purchase receipts, Amazon has gradually suspended this form of delivery. After all, products shipped from platforms such as Walmart must have obvious mall brand identification, which Amazon will definitely not tolerate. Sellers can only transfer logistics, label and ship by themselves or warehouse Amazon FBA to avoid such problems.

2. False sales complaints

False sales complaints refer to products sold by sellers that do not match the brand’s genuine products. At this time, as long as the corresponding purchase receipt or product purchase invoice is provided, the document must contain the company information of both parties to the trade; secondly, sellers should carefully consider why they have received such complaints, such as you are sure that the products you sell are genuine, but the packaging or other product details do not meet customer expectations. Sometimes, it may be that the buyer made a wrong complaint, but in any case, the complaint has already occurred. On the premise that the product is 100% genuine, prepare the above information and attach it to the PofA (Plan of Action) and wait for Amazon to review and restore the account.

3. Complaints about fake sales

Complaints about fake sales are slightly different from complaints about false sales, that is, sellers sell counterfeit products and are complained about by relevant brands through Amazon. The impact of selling fakes is more serious than other complaints. Brand merchants will entrust a professional team of lawyers to negotiate claims with a court hearing as a precondition, which will directly lead to the account of the seller selling fakes being closed by Amazon, with losses ranging from tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Of course, if the seller is convinced that the brand has initiated a wrong claim, he can also prepare materials for appeal to protect his rights.
