Before the Shopify independent station is officially launched, I recommend checking whether the shopping process and payment are normal. The best way is for you or someone to go to your Shopify independent station to place an order. The purpose of this is to experience the entire shopping process from the customer’s perspective and check what areas have not been set up well. Specifically, the areas that need to be checked are as follows:
First, check the homepage. For example, check whether the main directory and footer directory are set up. Open each page to see if it displays normally.
Secondly, check the product landing page. Here you mainly check whether every part of the product page is displayed normally, including fonts, font sizes, colors, pictures, and videos. If you insert GIF pictures or videos, etc., it depends on whether the website can be opened normally and how fast it can be opened. If the GIF image opens too slowly, it means that the GIF image is too large and needs to be compressed. If the video cannot be opened, then there is a problem with the embedded code.
You need to click the “ADDTOCART” (Add to Shopping Cart) button to check how fast the page jumps, what kind of content the page will display, and whether it affects the customer’s experience.
You also need to click the “CHECK OUT" (checkout) button to open the checkout page, mainly to check whether the customer is required to enter an email address and whether the “Shippingaddress” (shipping address) text box is automatically filled.
Then, click the “Continue to shipping” button to check whether the “Shipping method” is displayed completely and whether the freight amount is set correctly.
Click the “Continue to payment” button to see if all payment tools are showing up.
It should be reminded that you can use a foreign currency or dual-currency credit card issued by a domestic bank to test the credit card collection tool, but you need to find a PayPal account outside China to test PayPal.
You also need to perform a non-payment operation, close this page when the payment information page appears, and then check whether the abandoned purchase recovery email set in advance is sent normally and whether the email content is displayed normally.
