As mentioned in the previous chapter, compared with platforms, independent websites suffer more in terms of winning customer trust. Independent website sellers need to do some things that can increase customers’ trust in the independent website, and the page is one of them. The pages here refer to the about us (about us), contact us (contact us) pages of the website, etc. It is the about us (about us), contact us (contact us) pages of the website, etc.

1. Add about us page

Log in to the Shopify backend and click the “Online Store”-“Page” button.

Click the “Add Page” button and the following content will appear.

(1) Title and content. Of course, the content needs to be written in a Word document in advance. You can choose pure text type, text + picture type, text + video type, etc. according to the situation of your own independent station. I generally use the default font.

(2)Search engine optimization. As with all SEO principles, do your keyword research first and then fill it out.

(3) Visibility. It is recommended to set the visibility to visible after editing and previewing are OK, that is, visitors can see the page in the front desk of the independent station.

(4) Template. Select “page” for “Template suffix”.

2. Add the contact us page

If the customer encounters a problem, they can find the contact information from the contact us page.

Adding a contact us page is similar to adding an about us page. Log in to the Shopify backend, click the “Online Store”-“Page” button, and then click the “Add Page” button.

Enter the title and content of the contact us page. The operation is similar to adding the about us page. When creating the contact us page, use the form officially provided by Shopify for independent website visitors to contact you. The design of this form is very practical for independent website visitors. You can fill in your email, name and text content in this form, and the Shopify system will send these contents directly to your customer service email. This form is implemented by selecting the template suffix “page.contact”.
