For novice sellers, placing an order for the first time is both exciting and distressing. The happy thing is that the store has finally placed an order, and the products they have worked so hard to upload have come to fruition; the troublesome thing is that they don’t know how to process the order, let alone how to give it to them. Buyer ships. Next, the author will introduce the correct shipping process for novice sellers after placing an order in the store.
1. Bind a freight deduction account
If novice sellers do not bind a freight deduction account, they must first log in to the AliExpress backend and go through “Account Settings” – “Deductions” Account Binding” to set. The withholding account is mainly used to pay the freight for online international small parcel orders. If it is not set up, the seller will not be able to ship the goods next time. If you have set up a debit account, you can ignore this step.
2. Online shipping
In the AliExpress backend, the seller clicks “Transaction” – “All Orders”, finds the order to be shipped, and clicks “Shipping” in the list button, after the page jumps, select “Online Shipping” and check “Logistics Channel”. What needs to be noted here is that the checked logistics channel should be the channel selected by the buyer when placing an order. If the buyer does not choose or does not have the logistics channel checked by the buyer, it is best for the seller to communicate with the buyer and then determine the channel. Failure to deliver goods according to the logistics channel checked by the buyer can easily cause disputes.
After selecting the corresponding channel, the seller will judge whether the product belongs to a special category based on whether it is charged or contains liquid cosmetics, etc., and selects the type of goods. After confirmation, choose to create a logistics order. After the page jumps, fill in the shipping information.
The next step is door-to-door collection by logistics. If the shipping address is within the collection range, the system will automatically match the corresponding warehouse and click Submit to generate a waybill number; if the shipping address does not recommend a collection warehouse, the system will prompt you to send it to a transit warehouse. Of course, sellers can also communicate with warehouse personnel individually whether they can come to collect goods, because although the system shows that some addresses are not within the collection range, in fact warehouse business personnel will also come to collect goods. If the warehouse business personnel cannot come to collect the goods, the seller needs to send them to the warehouse through domestic express delivery. In this case, the package needs to have two layers of packaging, the inner layer is international express packaging, and the outer layer is domestic express packaging. After the warehouse business personnel remove the domestic express packaging, they scan it into the warehouse. When the seller creates a logistics order, there is a solution for undeliverable packages at the bottom of the page. You can choose to return or destroy the package overseas based on the value of the product. When “Return” is selected, a fixed amount of return service fee will be charged for each order; when “Destroy” is selected, there will be no return service fee and the package will be destroyed for free.
3. Fill in the shipping notice
After generating the waybill number, click “Backstage Transaction” – “International Small Package”, find the logistics order number through the transaction order number, and click “Print and Send” “Cargo Label” is affixed to the outer packaging of the package. After shipping, click “Fill in Shipping Notice” on the order details page to complete the shipping process.
If there are many orders and you need to print labels in batches, click “Backstage Transaction” – “International Small Package Order” – “Transaction Order Number” to search, check the orders that need to be printed, and select batch export for shipment. labels to complete batch printing.
