Review has an important impact on the ranking and exposure of product listings. At the same time, it will also affect the buyer’s purchasing decision to a certain extent. It is an important tool to enhance buyers’ trust in the product. Therefore, sellers must attach great importance to the management of Reviews.

You can view the Review details of this Listing in the “Customer Review” section of the product Listing.

The time a buyer leaves a review is one of the important factors that affects a product’s star rating. The longer the review left by the buyer exists, the higher the weight of this review and the greater the impact on the overall star rating. The shorter the review exists, the smaller the impact on the overall star rating. This can to a certain extent reduce the illegal behavior of some sellers who receive a large number of five-star reviews in a short period of time.

1. The number of likes for a Review

The number of likes for a Review refers to the number of times a Review is adopted (that is, clicked “Helpful”), as shown in the figure below. The more times a Review is adopted, the higher its weight and the greater its impact on the Review’s overall star rating.

2. Does the Review have a “Verified Purchase” mark?

Reviews with a “Verified Purchase” mark are reviews left by buyers who have actually purchased the product. It can increase the persuasiveness of the Review, as shown in the figure below. If the Review does not have a “Verified Purchase” mark, no matter how many Reviews there are, it will not affect the overall star rating.
