In order to better enable new sellers to develop, the Shopee platform has formulated a traffic support policy for newly launched products. Sellers can obtain new product traffic by uploading products in small batches and time periods and using the top promotion function – Boost.

Sellers upload new products in small batches and time periods every day. This operation will make the new products rank higher in the search ranking results of the same category, which is conducive to the continuous exposure of the store. Uploading products during the peak traffic period of each market is more conducive to product exposure. For example, the Singapore market has the most orders from 20:00 to 24:00, the Thailand market has the most orders from 13:00 to 15:00, the Malaysia market has the most orders from 14:00 to 16:00, and the Indonesian market has the most orders from 10:00 to 12:00. Uploading new products during the active buyer period can increase the exposure of products.
Top promotion function – Boost.
Shopee provides sellers with a free feature to promote products on top in every market – Boost (promotion). Sellers can click “Product Management” – “My Products” – “All” in the Seller Center, select any product to be promoted on top from all the products on the shelves, click the “Action” button, and select “Click me to promote on top” to display the product on the top of the corresponding category page.

On the “My Products” product page, click “Live” to view the products sold online. Click “Boost Now” in “More Operations” to promote the product. After clicking Boost, the seller cannot click it again within 4 hours (5 SKUs can be exposed each time).
