Shopee platform commission and transaction fee.

Orders subject to commission:

1) Transaction commission is only charged for completed orders (the commission base does not include order shipping fees);

2) No transaction commission will be charged if the order is cancelled;

3) The same seller will not be charged transaction commission for each site in the first 3 months on the platform.

Note: Shopee platform reserves the right of final interpretation and does not rule out adjustments to charging items and standards. The current version of the rate is applicable until the Shopee platform releases a new commission rate.

Shopee provides a 3-month commission-free period for new sellers who first enter the platform. The commission-free period for new sellers on each site starts from the date the seller opens a store on the corresponding platform. Example:

1) Seller A opens a store on July 1st in Singapore, so the store on the Singapore site will start to be charged commission on October 1st;

2) Seller A opens a store on September 1st in Malaysia, so the store on the Malaysia site will start to be charged commission on December 1st.

Transaction fee:

Shopee platform began to charge sellers a 2% transaction fee on January 1st, 2019. This fee is actually a fee paid to the transaction clearing service provider. Previously, this part of the fee has been borne by Shopee.

Transaction fee charging standards:

1) The transaction fee is 2%;

2) A fee is charged for completed orders (both cash on delivery and non-cash on delivery orders);

3) A fee is charged for the order amount (including shipping costs paid by the buyer);

4) The transaction fee is independent of the platform commission.
