Many sellers who sell large products want to choose FBA delivery, but because the product is too large, Amazon FBA storage and delivery costs are too expensive, so under the current selling price, FBA delivery is not an option at all. Large products will definitely lose money if they use FBA delivery mode, so sellers have to use overseas warehouses to deliver. Although overseas warehouse self-delivery can guarantee a certain timeliness, many disadvantages of self-delivery are unavoidable, especially in terms of product ranking weight and conversion rate. In Amazon, FBA products are at least twice as high as FBM products in ranking weight and conversion rate. The reason is that there is a blue Prime (Amazon member) logo on the FBA product page.
In order to help the above sellers solve such problems, Amazon officially launched a Seller Fulfilled Prime program. Sellers who ship by themselves can obtain the Prime logo through the Seller Fulfilled Prime program. The registration conditions and related processes of this project are as follows.
The seller account needs to meet the following requirements.
①Sellers must be able to provide free 2-day delivery service (2 Days Shipping), which is Premium Shipping.
②The seller’s FBM on-time delivery rate must be ≥99%, and the order cancellation rate must be <0.5%.
③Use Amazon-supported transportation companies to transport products.
④Strictly abide by and implement Amazon’s return policy.
⑤Agree that Amazon is responsible for consumer service.
If the seller’s account meets the above requirements, you can apply for the Seller Fulfilled Prime program, but before the application is officially approved, the seller has a 90-day assessment period, during which the seller will receive many Prime orders.
Note: During the assessment period, although the seller can receive Prime orders, the Prime logo will not appear on the seller’s product page. The Prime logo will only appear after all indicators are fully met and the assessment period is passed.
Also, although sellers who join the Seller Fulfilled Prime program can save FBA fees and have the Prime logo, sellers are responsible for packaging, shipping products, and paying for labels. Sellers can weigh the pros and cons before making a decision.
