As a well-known e-commerce platform, Ozon provides flexible and efficient logistics services to ensure that orders can be delivered to buyers on time. In this article, we will introduce Ozon’s logistics process in detail to help sellers understand each step from stock preparation to delivery.

Step 1: Orders to be prepared.

First, new orders will appear in the “Ready to be prepared” tab. This is where you can view and manage all unprocessed orders.

Step 2: Prepare orders.

Once the goods are ready, just click the “Ready to be prepared” button next to the order. The order will then move to the “Ready to be shipped” tab. Usually, Ozon will register the order within 30 minutes, after which you will get the tracking number of the order and can print the cargo label.

Step 3: Print cargo labels.

For logistics operations, cargo labels need to be printed for each order. The labels have the following requirements:

Size: The standard size of the label is 12 × 7.5 cm, but some carriers may have different requirements.

Printing method: Labels can be printed using either a thermal printer or a thermal transfer printer.

Surface: Labels should have a matte or semi-gloss surface.

Single label: Each order requires a separate label, and carriers cannot accept labels consisting of multiple fragments.

Label location: The label should be completely attached to the largest surface of the package, without gaps and unattached parts.

Barcode: Make sure the barcode on the label is not covered by tape and does not damage the appearance of the goods, including the factory packaging of the goods.

Please note that only the barcode on the upper part of the label is used for warehouse operations, as the barcode on the lower part is used by the internal system to identify, count and deliver the goods to the buyer.

Step 4: Pack the order.

After printing the label, pack the order and deliver it to the designated collection point. Make sure to deliver the goods to the collection point within the specified time to avoid negative impact on the delivery date and the relationship with the buyer. The order status will be automatically updated to “Preparing for stock”.

Step 5: Sign the handover order.

At the collection point, a handover note will need to be signed. Once the carrier receives the goods, the order will enter the next stage of processing. Everything from then on, including order status, tracking number, and communication with buyers and carriers, is controlled by the Ozon platform.

Step 6: Order Processing.

In the next stage, Ozon will control everything about the order. This includes updating the order status, providing tracking numbers, and coordination between buyers and carriers. If the carrier does not accept the goods, the order will be marked as “rejected by the sorting center.” A dispute can be raised, and the order can be canceled or re-shipped after the dispute is resolved.

Summary:

Ozon’s logistics process is very simple and efficient. Sellers only need to follow the steps above to ensure that the order reaches the buyer on time. Through reasonable stocking and logistics operations, you can provide an excellent customer experience, maintain a good order status, improve seller ratings, and gain more business opportunities. I hope this article can help you better understand Ozon’s logistics process and contribute to the success of your e-commerce business.
