As a cross-border seller, after choosing to settle in the Cdiscount platform, you need to consider how to list products and start operating a store. Cdiscount is one of the largest e-commerce platforms in France. There are two main ways to list products: manual listing and batch listing. This article will introduce the steps for sellers on the Cdiscount platform to manually list products.
1. Manual listing steps.
1. After the seller logs in to the account, enter the Cdiscount seller backend. Find the “Produit” option in the navigation bar, then select the “Vendre un produit unitairement” option in its drop-down list and click to enter.
Note: If you have saved an unfinished listing product before, you can use the “Finalisez vos produits” link to continue the listing operation.
2. If it is a follow-up product, the seller needs to enter the ean and SKU of the corresponding product in the search bar.
3. After entering the single product listing page, search for the corresponding product category in the search bar and manually select the category of the product to be listed.
4. Next, fill in the product-related information:
When setting the product title, do not use extra punctuation marks and avoid repeated embedding of keywords.
If you need to fill in the product brand, you need to open a case in the background and apply for filing before you can fill it in.
The product description does not need to be as detailed as Amazon, and a simple summary of the product features is sufficient.
5. Fill in the product description, brand and other related information. The market description needs to be formatted using HTML, including the product’s material, packaging information and product model, etc., and all are required to be filled in French.
6.Click “Créer le produit” to enter the setting page for product prices and product logistics and delivery methods.
7.Finally, select the store where the product is listed. If the seller has multiple stores, you can choose to list the product in multiple stores. If there is only one store, you can only choose that store.
8.Next, the seller can choose a promotion. There are two types of promotions, short-term promotions and solde (big promotions).
Short-term promotions are discounts set by the seller himself and are valid for 72 hours.
Solde is a big promotion that can only be displayed for a limited time.
9. The seller needs to set the delivery time. If there is an overseas warehouse, it can be set to 3 days. You can also choose whether to set an additional shipping fee. If not, you can fill in 0.00.
10. Finally, fill in the selling price of the product, then click Save and Submit to complete the product listing.
With these simple steps, sellers can manually list products on the Cdiscount platform and start operating stores in the French market. Cdiscount provides a convenient way to expand sellers’ cross-border e-commerce business and help sellers succeed in the French market.
