On the Ozon platform, setting the right search result advertising rate is crucial to increase product exposure and attract more buyers. Here are some simple steps to teach sellers how to set effective advertising rates to get the best advertising results:

1. Set product rates.

Enter the Ozon seller backend and navigate to the “Promotions” -> “Promotions in Search” page.

On the “Offensive” page, sellers will see a list of sellers’ products. Click on the rate of the specific product for which the seller wants to set a rate.

Enter the new rate that the seller wants to set for the product and click “Apply”. The rate will be applied to all search query conditions for the product to increase its exposure.

Note: Please make sure that the seller’s rate is within the seller’s budget and reflects the actual value of the seller’s product and the competitive environment.

2. Adjust the rate based on the pageview forecast.

The system will provide sellers with pageview forecasts and the average position of products without set rates. Please note that the pageview forecast is an approximation and is affected by a variety of factors, including other sellers’ rates, the addition of new products, and the ratings and prices of current products.

Sellers can adjust their rates based on pageview forecasts. If you want to get more exposure and clicks, you can consider increasing your rates. Conversely, if you want to reduce advertising costs, you can lower your rates.

3. Set a uniform rate.

If you want to set the same rate for a group of products, first select those products and click “Set Rate.”

Enter a uniform rate for the selected products and click “Apply.” This will set the same rate for your product group to simplify management.

By setting appropriate rates based on search query conditions, sellers can improve the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns, attract more potential buyers, and increase sales. Constantly monitor and adjust your rates to ensure that they adapt to market changes and help sellers succeed on the Ozon platform.
