Steps for Chinese sellers to register for Lazada:

1. Online registration

Online registration: Visit https://sellercenter.lazada.com.my/seller/ and fill in the online form (the default language of the website is English, which can be switched to Chinese mode).

2. Fill in the application form

After completing the first step, you will receive an email titled “Welcome to Lazada”. Please fill in the buyer application form as required and upload a valid company business license or business registration certificate.

3. Activate Seller Center

You will receive an email titled “Log in to your Seller Center”. Please log in to reset your Seller Center password to activate your Seller Center account.

4. Online test

You will receive an email titled “Attend training and pass the test”. Please learn the basic rules of Lazada online and complete the online test. In order to pass the test, your score must be above 85 points. You can take the test multiple times.

5. Payment method registration

Please submit the required materials to Lianlian Cross-border Payment Method in accordance with the relevant requirements and register a Lianlian Cross-border Payment Corporate Account as the payee.

6. 50 SKUs passed the review

You will receive an email titled “Upload the first batch of SKUs”. Please upload at least 50 SKUs in the Seller Center as required by Lazada and pass the quality review.

Finally, please note that in order to open a Lazada store, a company license must be provided. Currently, Lazada only supports the use of Payoneer corporate accounts and corporate Alipay accounts for payment.
