It is extremely important for enterprises to implement dynamic competitiveness strategies, because the market environment is undergoing unprecedented changes. Only when enterprises have competitiveness consistent with such changes can they gain a firm foothold in market competition and strive to compete. However, the dynamic competitiveness of enterprises is challenged in two aspects:
On the one hand, the shaping, cultivation and transformation of enterprise competitiveness seem to never keep up with the changes in the environment and have a lag, so it is difficult to maintain a dynamic balance between enterprises and the environment for a long time. The acceleration of the development speed of new technologies and new products and the change cycle of competition rules between enterprises, the modernization of competition means and the interaction of domestic and foreign competition have complicated the competitive environment of enterprises. The high intensity and high speed of competition often make the competitive advantages established by enterprises easily destroyed by the counterattacks of competitors. Therefore, only by constantly establishing competitive advantages and weakening the competitive advantages of opponents can enterprises themselves and their competitors win the initiative in market competition. Economist Porter pointed out: “The significant feature of competition is that enterprises influence each other, and the results of one enterprise’s competitive actions depend on the response of another enterprise.”
On the other hand, once competitiveness is established, it has a certain rigidity, so it often cannot change quickly in response to changes in the environment. Therefore, there will always be a certain gap between the competitiveness that enterprises should have and the actual competitiveness.
